Welcome to the newest Kappa Squadron report. There was some fine
activity last week, especially from our newcomer, LT Shimir.
Unfortunately, I still couldn't figure out how to process his TFRs.
After already consulting Jon, Inky, Algy and Stele, I've now contacted
the TAC himself. He didn't answer yet, though.
I also wrote a mail to the TO concerning that still ungraded IWATS
test and the questions you had concerning a new course... no anwer yet
here, either.
Dang, the CS ignores me.
All in all, I don't think I've ever contacted so many Command Officers
in one week.
But well, at least one Kappa member who keeps me busy! :)


Squadron News

- The Sovereign Pilot League has started! For instructions, read
Todbringer's mail I've forwarded to all of you. That mail also had
the missions attached.

- A third W2PL season will definitely come, but the details are still
ironed out.

- The third combat engagement in Operation Outrageous Fortune is
running. See orders section and also the tips COL Jon has sent.

- Fly FT 210 (attached) for the OOF wargame. Deadline is today at
11 am Eastern.

- Read the rules for the Sovereign Pilots League (attached).

- Fly FT 215 (attached) for the Sovereign Pilots League. Deadline is
28th of March. Yes, this means you will have TWO FULL WEEKS, and I
expect full participation in this. Submissions go to me only. Please
no last-minute submissions, as I must have time left to forward our
pilot files and results.
If you want to, feel free to play the XvT and XWA missions also, but
TF has priority.

- XTM/2 (AD Marcin Szydlowski)
I would like to inform some people that XTM/2 course is available
for long time. Even though TO site does not list it yet, it's
official EH course. It teaches you advanced mission creation tricks
and describes Tactical Office procedures. Worth Trying. You can find

- Sovereign Wargame Fight (VA Pel)
Battle Alert! All Sovereign Pilots and Ground-pounders. Another
Wargame battle will occur on Sunday, at 11am Eastern Time. If you
are flying Single player TIE-FREE 210 and/or XvT-FREE 136 are due in
to me BEFORE that time, so get them to your WC for forwarding as
early as possible. SWGB players can expect to play after the XWA
skirmish. JK2 players will have to wait until after SWGB, or perhaps
until another time.

- Relentless Commodore Open To Applications (HA Priyum Patel)
The position of Relentless COM is now open to applications. All
interested parties must be able to meet the following requirements:

- A successful tour as Squadron Commander & Wing Commander (in the
TIE Corps) for no less than FOUR consecutive months for each
position
- Intimate familiarity with all TC protocols and procedures
- No major HCI convictions within the last two years
- Familiarity with the single and multiplayer aspects of XWA.
- Commitment to carry out the Commodore duties as detailed in the
Training Manual
- You must also be able to look at long term plans for the Ship and
the welfare of not only your Ship but also the Battlegroup and TIE
Corps.

Applicants must have a quick email response time as well as being
able to work with all levels of command, from regular Flight Members
to the the Ship WC. Specific skills such as webpage design etc, are
desirable. Applications should be sent to High Admiral Priyum and
Vice Admiral Krax. You have one week to send in applications, which
must have the subject "Drake's HunnyBunny".

- Flag Officer Promotions (HA Priyum Patel)
Congratulations today go out to two individuals. The first is the
Wing Commander of Wing IX, Colonel Drake, who has received a
promotion to the rank of General in recognition of his work as a
Flag Officer on the Relentless.

Congratulations also go out to the new Wing XIII Wing Commander,
Major Archon. Already a proven CMDR on the Grey Wolf, Archon should
continue his fine work as WC.

- EH Poland Meeting III (AD Marcin Szydlowski)
Yes! Meeting is close, so you should start thinking about it. You
can find all info about it in my article, posted on EH News. In case
of any other questions, simply mail me.

- members sent to HCI (FA Brad)
Just recently, I contacted the High Inquisitor, Tribune and Warden
to conduct a number of trials for certain members who I have found
to violate EH regulations. You must report to me the moment you find
out an expelled member has rejoined the EH without permission from
the FC, XO, or HI. Refusal to do so can result in a trial for
Disobeying and order or regulation and aiding the enemy. Check the
HCI page for news, or contact me.

- TOA Open for Applications (VA Keldorn)
After due consideration of the multitude of tasks required to be
completed by the Office, the position of Training Office Assistant
is now open. The successful applicant will be duly considered for
elevation to the position of Command Attaché in the future. The
requirements are:

An active member of the Emperor’s Hammer.
Holding at least the rank of Commander (or equivalent).
No serious HCI convictions within the last 12 months.
A high-level of online activity (IRC, Fast e-mail turnaround).
Above average talent & experience in creating/managing websites
(HTML).
Excellent grasp of the English language.
[Optional - Desired] Knowledge of Active Server Pages (ASP)
