Cobra Weekly Report
CMDR/CM Blade/Cobra/Wing XIV/ISD Intrepid


Blade sat back and looked out his veiwport, just admiring the view of the Minos Cluster when he spotted what looked like a pair of boxer shorts floating by. He reached over and grabbed his marcobinoculars, and scanned the object. Indeed it was a pair of underwear, he focused on them and read the name Gistenjunge.
‘Uh-oh, looks like Gist and Archons going away party has gone a little too far,’ Blade had stopped by for a few to wish his pals good luck before he returned to his quarters to finish his squadron report.
Blade rose and headed to the door. His door slid open and as he stepped out into the corridor, slipped and fell on his butt. The entire corridor was coated with shaving cream and shampoo.
‘I am really missing a good party,’ he thought, ‘I think I’ll finish my report later and go on down there.’
He picked himself up off the floor and headed towards the Intrepids pilots lounge. He could hear the music from three decks up, he thought that when Wil and Darksaber were disturbed then all Hell was going to break loose.
The door to the pilots lounge was half out of it’s track so getting in and out was a task in itself. He arrived inside just as a large group was heading out. It seems that the bar was dry and they were going looking for some more. Blade decided to stay and wait til they got back from their scavenger hunt when more pilots from Copperhead and Viper arrived. He saw a few of his pilots there, over by the noonaball table sat Kettch, half passed out and looking bad. Near the door, curled up in a ball was Nova Killer. A few of the newbies from Krayt were hanging out over in the corner, trying to not be noticed. Blade, standing there in his duty uniform must have looked like a ShorePatrol officer, they sort of shrunk back from his gaze.
Blade headed towards the back area near the main window in the place. There was Gist, passed out and holding the bottle of the good stuff Blade had given as a going away present, wearing his flight helmet and not much else. Archon was flopping around on the dance floor with some Twi’lek hootchie. Blade smiled to himself and pulled his digital camera and started snapping photos.
All of a sudden from behind Blade came a yell.
“ATTENTION ON DECK!!!”
Blade turned around and standing there was Wil and Darksaber. Wil had a serious look on his face and DS was about to bust from holding in laughter. Gist jumped up and promptly fell over, Archon tripped over one of the Twi’leks lekku, which was a feat actually. Other pilots and officers had similar reactions.
“I have one question,” Wil said, “Why were we not invited to this great party!”
With that Wil pulled out his Commodore keys to the good section of the liquor cabinet to an uproar of cheers.
“Drinks are on me everybody!” he said as he started passing out bottles…
Three long days later Blade finally finished his report…


Welcome to my 15th report as Cobra CMDR :)

CMDRs Rantings- We need to recruit still. I know that we have 6 but if a few things happen then that will change. Not much in the way of activity this week. I know some of you are working on the Great Jedi War, I just finished a 13 page story submission. I am also working on a game much like Space Invaders, I have the game mechanics going but now I need to add some other touches, like a pause button, frontscreen, and other refinements.
I am waiting for Phantom to get back from leave before working out some details of a possible flying comp. I have high hopes that we can work something out and get it going soon.

An important Headline- when on the iRC or Message boards, watch what you say about other Sub-groups, or even other wings, squadrons, and such. The security officer will be cracking down on people who violate CoCs and the AoW. Consider this a warning, I will not tolerate it in Cobra Squadron. We are here to have fun, not to belittle others, I don’t think I have a problem here in Cobra but others do. Trash talking is fine to a point, especially during a comp, but there is a line that should not and will not be crossed.

Congrats to COL Drake and Major Archon. Drake got promoted to the rank of General for his service as a wing commander, Way to go Drake!
Most of you have noticed that Copperhead is without a CMDR at the moment. That’s because our very own Major Archon has been accepted as the New Wing XIII WC. Archon served the Intrepid well over the last few months and we are sorry to see him go. Congrats and Good luck with the Mutt Archon, we’ll miss ya around here!

LoCs for the XVT WoW are late, hopefully they will be given to the right pilots this time.

CPT Gistenjunge has also departed the ship. Gist went and accepted an offer from Tau squadron. Good luck and Congrats Gisty!!!

Competitions-
Cobra Ace of the Month is still going on. I won it last month with Kettch coming in Second. Right now it’s pretty much open fo a good run at it. Go fly some battles and send them to me for points. On a side note, if you need any kind of help installing the battles or don’t know how, we have many pilots who are able to help. Just ask

We still have a few of the Ship comps going at the moment, can’t seem to figure which ones, but when I do I will let you all know.

Citations report- We are back to 22 with the removal of Vulkrith from the roster.
