Greetings all, It's that time again...I am happy to say that you guys have been much more active this week...great work! Alot of stuff has happened this week which I'll get to in the news section. I must also appologise if this report looks different than my previous ones. I'm experimenting with a new report format that will make it easier to make these on a weekly basis and also have all my reports looking consistant. If there's any problems with it, please don't hesistate to e-mail me and let me know. I have also decided to add a fiction run-on section here and hopefully you guys can submit then next part of the story. It'll hopefully make these reports a little more interesting.

Fiction

In the Scorpion Ready Room "The Vanguard's has been on patrol for months, and we still haven't even been sent out to recon anything yet Strahd. When are we going to see some action?" Blastfire asked. "Yeah!" Vallyn added, "Not that I'm complaining, I mean, I love watching re-runs of "As The Galaxy Turns" but this is getting kind of monotonous" Strahd could see that these pilots wanted something, anything, to happen to get the juices flowing. It had been a long trip out with little or no action at all. We all had good careers in the Tie Corps but we were all looking for something to do. Even when on something the size of a Star Destroyer, you can easily get bored out of your mind. Sure we had been busy with the day to day stuff. Flying CAP missions and the like. But that's not what Scorpion was made for. We were Recon...we were the best trained out there cause we knew we have to make it back, we knew we'd be out-mumbered when we went in, and that's how we liked it. "I have been in meetings with WC Tarkin and Our COMM, and they have assured me that Scorpion's talents will be used this mission." Strahd knew that this would only keep the pilots settled for a day or two, but that's all he needed. "I sure hope so, I've already beaten the flight simulators to a pulp" Glorick Said. In the Squadron Commander's Ready Room, two days later "CMDR Strahd, I will need to to get a group of 4 pilots together. We are heading close to the neutral zone and we need to stay sharp. Your orders are simple: send your flight out about 100 000 kms out into sector 3 and report anything "out of the ordinary." Tarkin said. "Anything I need to know before I send my guys out?" Strahd asked. "Not really, just tell your flight to keep their eyes open, and they are to only scan, not attack. The rules of engagement are still in effect. Do not fire until fired upon. Understand? Also, there will be rotating recon missions every 2 days. That should keep you pilots occupied." "Yes sir, your orders will be followed to the letter and I know my pilots will be very happy to hear that." Strahd replied. In the Scropion Ready Room After a few hours, Strahd chooses flight 3 to head out. Ekim starts to moan. "Why can't it be flight 2? I wanted to go out, flight 3 always goes!" "The other 2 flights will be going out sometime soon. I have orders to keep the flights on a rotating schedule, so everyone will get a chance out. We'll all our chance." Strahd screams over the crowded ready room. Out in space Strahd comes on over the com, "OK guys, remember, no firing until fired upon. And everyone makes it back, understand?" "you can count on us Sir!" Ultima says. "OK Blastfire, the flight's yours! Good hunting." Strahd mentions as the flight jumps into hyperspace...

News

Well, Great activity this week...a few battles, some LoCs and a DFC. Although we lost our new member. He got caught by another squadron but I wish him all the best with his new Squadron. I'd really like to have some fiction to place in the fiction section for the next report. So if anyone wants to submit me some, please do so. After talking to a fellow squad mate, it has come to my attention that you guys would like me to be on IRC more often. I don't know how much more I can be on but I give you all my word that I will defenitly try to be on IRC more. I'm getting my e-mails bouced from 2 guys in this squadron. Zippy hawk and Victor Kage. If anyone sees them online, please ask them to clean their e-mail or check their settings. I'd like to not have to remove them cause they have their e-mail full. Thanks...
