News:
Ok, once again, another good week for
Vampire Squadron! Your fearless leader has been promoted to the Rank of Major!
Drinks are on...Mosh again :) Round 2 of the Sov Squad League was announced, and
again, Vampire Squadron takes FIRST PLACE! Excellent work,
Vampires, and great job to all who submitted. LT Erisi Dlarit left Vampire to go
to Nun Squadron. Let's wish her luck with her TC career. For those of you who
haven't noticed, the TC Mission Compendium is down. If you have anything you
wish to fly, email COM RogueWing and make your request, and he'll email it to
you. I have no idea how long it'll be down, so let's be patient.
Other
News:
COM RogueWing issued some new orders
this week: In an effort to promote Communication, we are to get active in our
squadron egroup emails. I've updated the Vampire yahoo groups (which i shoulda
done sooner). Also, he's ordered CMDR's to assign battles for their Squadrons to
fly. I've done one better, and gotten the citboard.exe program figured out. Now
we can fly in an attempt to increase our citations. I'll be giving everyone
different battle assignments. Let's Congratulate CM Ernest Penfold on his
appointment as CMDR of Demon! We wish you the best of luck. GN Badlands got his
big comp approved, so keep an eye out for details. In other news, eyewitnesses
reported seeing a pilot with a hold-out blaster shooting at some ducks on deck
10. The individual in question was reportedly wearing a large diaper and a bib.
We can assume someone lost a bet.

Sov Squad League, Round
3 now going! The mission is XWAF-73, and is due in my
inbox by April 25th(preferrably that evening, EST). We are on a roll, and well
on our way to winning the Sov Squad League! Hints and tips were released by me
earlier this week.
I challenged Hey Squadron to a small
comp, no word back on them. I will run a Squad vs Squad soon (if someone finally
gets back to me), or i'll be running a small "Caption" contest...i've found a
few nifty pics to use for this comp, just gotta decide which one.

Thought:
Activity within the Squadron is looking
good. But let's try to give communication a kick in the butt. Let's get more
active over email, and let's start using the message boards more. If any of you
