SQUADRON NEWS

• Well we can pretty much kiss March goodbye now.  This has probably been the worst month for Hornet activity since I have joined the Tie Corps.  Even I had trouble getting anything done.  I don't know about the rest of you, but I would like to forget this month ever happened, and focus on the great feats we will achieve in April!  Any lack of activity from March is forgiven and won't be counted against you.  Lack of contact, however, is different.  You guys (and girl) at least have time to answer the emails I write to you, don't you?

• Nevertheless, someone really wanted that FL spot.  It will be announced as soon as it is approved by the Flight Office.

• Because I put so much time and effort into making these WSRs look nice, and because most email programs besides Outlook don't recognize my formatting, and because so many of you don't open attachments, I have put an archive on my personal website where you can view all of the WSRs I write as they were meant to be seen, digitally enhanced in THX for superior sound and picture quality.  :P  Go to stryker.tiecorps.net/wsrs and bookmark it!

• Because I will be moving during the next few weeks, and because RL has been kicking my butt lately, I have appointed Major Drake Jensen to be my XO.  Congrats Jensy!  How does it feel to be #2 across the board?  :P

• I will be trying to rearrange the roster this week to reflect the new FL and Drake's XO position.  If for whatever reason you would like a different position in the squadron (or want to stay where you are) speak now or forever hold your peace!

• We lost Biges to the Reserves this week and are now down to seven pilots.  This is unacceptable, but understandable, considering the Evil month of March.  I need you guys to get out there and help me recruit.  That is still job #1.  If you need help in doing this please let me know.

• Don't forget we have a run-on going on in the message boards.  I am going to try to turn it into a competition and all past, present and future posts will count so write something today and don't miss your chance for an easy medal!

• Lieutenant Commander noWedge has become the new XWA game admin on Battlestats.  Congrats noWedge!
