Another week, another report. I'm happy to say I was able to get in touch with one of my MIAs. Hopefully I'll be able to talk to everyone in the future. We had some good activity this week. More than last for sure. I'm also glad to hear that I won't be the only one who flew the competition battle XWA-TC 33. I got some news regarding my RL situation later on. So please read the news section below for info. On to the report! |

Scorpion was getting restless. The guys were tired of being cramped with no chance to escape teh confines of teh ISD Vanguard. Even in something the size of a Star Destroyer, once you've been on one for a few months, you know every corner of it. There had been the odd excitement, we flew and inspected an abandonned rebel platform. Nothing to write home about, not even a straggling rebel tug or heavy lifter to take pot shots at. We were however allowed to "visit" the platform once it was deemed space worthy. It was a welcome distraction to the daily wanderings about the Vanguard. Blair and Ultima ran around teh platform taking in all the sights they could, however mundane simply because they were different. Morale was something that needed to be upkept. A simple distraction could lift a pilots spirits and give them the go head energy needed in space combat. Every advantage was sought after immensly. With the squadron out "visiting", Strahd was in the command center of the platform. realizing that this platform had been recently abandonned gave Strahd a sick feeling. He knew that the real threat was close and that he'd be forced to send the guys out again. It's a great responsibility to command a squadron. You are responible for the lives of 11 others out there in space, and it's very cold in space. Strahd got the call to return to the Vanguard ASAP. Deep space recon probes picked up some blips not too far away from their present location. The WC needed to make sure that the command staff was going after the right things and not some petty smugglers. Scorpion would fly again in the very nere future. "Ok guys, we got another 3 minutes till the transports land to pick us up...so meet at the air locks in 2. We're moving out. We still have to get they guys you know." |

Ok, first thing's first, I have finally been given my official starting date at work. So I will be probably be moving to the US within a few weeks. I'll give you a bit more info on that when I get it. But as we stand, my activities will continue as normal. Victor Kage is still on leave due to RL. Competition is still on. You all have till the 30th of March to fly XWA-TC 33. IS-BW and IS-BR to the top scorer and best fiction writer. Let's see some of these come in, last comp I was the only guy who flew. I was able to get in touch with Blair Vallyn. So that's one more guys I got in touch with (finally). It's good to stay in touch hehe. That's it for the news, on to activity. |
