CMDRs Rants- Activity is the most important thing we have. I am starting to sound like a broken record here about it. Why join a club and not be active. It’d be like paying for cable and never watching TV. Each of us need to step back and take a look at what we want from the TIE Corps. I know what I want. I want to At least get to 1000 FCHG and 100 CR. Right now I am at 920 FCHG and 90 CR so my short term goals are in reach for me. What are your goals? What activities would you like to do? I have a project I am working on that will involve the whole squadron. Right now I am working on a questionnaire that will tell me what each person in the squadron can do and I will have each work on what they are good at and even have you work with someone on something you may not be good at to try to help you get better. When it’s ready I will email out the form and when the project is ready I will send instructions on what is needed and by whom.

Miscellaneous Information When you were a kid, you looked up on the stars, dreaming about becoming a pilot.. to visit all planets in the universe. You wanted go up to the Stars.. Write a story about how did it happen that you became a pilot, what motivated you, or what made you to do it. Story about making the decision about joining the TieCorps.

Cobra Combat Patrol Project:
I am working on a squadron project of sorts. It will be a combination of Fiction, mission making and flying. We will be working on a Cobra battle centered on the current members of the unit. We will be working on it at least for a few weeks maybe longer depending on how it goes and how much stuff we can fit into it. More details will be following in a separate email.

Just a small reminder, there the two above comps ARE going on at the moment. One is a Caption Comp and the other is the runon comp on the Cobra squadron Message Board. Go participate and try to win a nice new shiny IS-SR.

Recent Events

Greetings TIE Corps.

As I'm sure most of you are aware by now, there have been some serious events with the Dark Brotherhood over the weekend, the details of which can be found on the main EH page. This is a significant turn of events that will have implications for many TIE Corps members who have friends in the DB, or are members themselves. I understand this will be the topic of conversation pretty much everywhere, so I ask people use common sense...please don't incite or flame the issue unnecessarily. I also request that everyone, whether you have a decision to make or not, carry on as normal. Those of you in command, continue to do your jobs...make sure those under you remain informed as always.

An EH Oath of Loyalty has been created in light of all this. Whilst I'm not keen on the "oath" part, I think it's an excellent way to show your support for your fellow pilots, superiors and the TIE Corps. Whilst signing it is certainly not mandatory, I encourage you to do so. EH Oath of Loyalty.

EH/RS Competitions

I've gotten many questions lately by people who want to hold competitions with the RS now that we've formally allied with them. This is great and actually encouraged by not only myself, but GA Ronin as well. I just want to lay down the proper procedures to make sure things get done and the comps can happen. When you make initial contact with the RS regarding a competition, you must CC the LA, TO, and COO(If an MP comp) on your emails. We will need to be apprised on what is going on. After you get your competition set up and approved by all parties, send in a Competition Approval Form if you plan to award medals, if not just have your comp and win some glory for the EH.

I hope this will help a little bit to eliminate some of the confusion regarding this subject, and good luck in your comps.

Flight Three Flight Leader Position open-
Flight 3 needs a flight leader. The qualifications are as follows-
1. Needs to be active.
2. Email turn around of less than 24 hrs, 36 at the longest
3. Able to motivate pilots in the flight
4. Reports sent to Flight, CMDR and WC; COM and BGCOM optional
