News:
Welcome to my 25th consecutive report as
Comamander of Vampire Squadron! The big news this week is that we've got two new
pilots, one new, and one veteran. Welcome SL Vensco from Daedalus, and CPT
Aeolus, former CMDR of Sadhe! Its good to have you guys with us. My apologies
now for so many comps going on simultaneously. I didn't know it was all gonna
pile up so suddenly, but thankfully, most of these aren't too tough. With these
new pilots, our Citations are back up to 64! Its been kind of a
rollercoaster, with people coming and going, and citations going up and down.
Let's hope our number stabilizes, and and now we can increase our citations...my
personal goal is 100.

News:
Mosh's gundark was seen in hangar bay 10
by technicians who apparently described the gundark getting "frisky" with one of
the support beams. They say they had video...but i declined to check it out. Tek
described the video as "Sick and wrong." The ducks we've seen running
around were spotted in Kane's quarters, where he was attempting to teach them
the word "afflak". We're still puzzled by this development. CPT Aeolus was found
in the Vampire briefing room weeping yesterday. When asked why, he replied,
"They took my Missile Boat back to Wing V, and now i'm stuck with a Toscan, with
a strange paint job!" I personnaly had 4 boxes of kleenex sent to his quarters.
After SL Vensco arrived onboard the Immortal, the first thing that happened was
that he literally "ran" into Commodore RogueWing. He snapped to attention, and
apologized. RogueWing looked like he was going to kill the poor Sub-Lieutenant,
and instead, screamed "QUACK!" and walked away. The Monkey Mayhem project is
getting the best of our Commodore....

Status/Orders:
Ok, i'll see if i can get all of this
straight :/ There's lots to do, and in some cases, little time to do it.
I'll put these in order of WHEN they're due.
Operation Monkey
Mayhem:
The Wing Commander of Wing XI has been taken
hostage by the Monkey Mascots of ISD Immortal. The hold him ransom as shown
here : http://www.minos.net/~badlands/monkey1.html
. This operation will require planning and so Phase 1 will be the creation of a
mission for rescue of the WC (we won't give in to
terrorist demands). This can be in teams of up to 3 people from anywhere in the
Wing.
Phase 2 will then involve the pilots carrying out
the top mission designed. During this we will need something written down to
remember
this so a runon story on the wing
messageboard will take place with an award for best post, limits are 2000 words
per post.
IS-SR - To members of Phase 1 winning team
IS-BR - To runners up of Phase 1
IS-BR - To top runon addition
IS-SW - To topgun of Phase 2
IS-BW - To runnerup of Phase 2
Lots of medals up for grabs so don't dawdle Phase 1
begins now missions suprisngly are to be built for XWA. OPTs and cutscenes are
allowed
along with sounds but try and keep things down if
you go the whole hog (size wise that is). Missions are due in on
the 4th of May to give you
plenty of time to use your skills. I'll start the
runon in a couple of days and that'll run until the end so think how to stretch
it out. Flying will be
for a week after judging and bug testing is
complete on the missions created so expect us to run over the end date of the
comp. So to all good

BGCOM Top Gun
Race! The Top Gun Race has begun! Send your Wings to their
fighters.
You have until next Thursday(May 8th) to fly XWAF-40. As usual,
weighted average scores will be used to determine the winning Wing, and
some pretty uniform glitter will go out to the pilots with the highest and
second-highest scores. (submit these to me, and i'll compile them and forward them to RW, BL and Krax)
Good luck, and we'll see who's the top XWA Wing in the BGs!

BGCOM/AD Krax Tarnisar/TIE Corps Battlegroups
Round 4 of the Sov Squad League
has been released! The assigned mission is XWAF-98
Operation Divide and Conquer: Part 1. The due date for these is Friday,
May 9th! Let's continue to stand out in this
competition!
Vampire vs. Crossbow, Supernatural Duels! The
assigned mission is XWA-F61, and is due May
15th!
Priorities: Sov Squad League, BGCOM Top Gun Race, Monkey
Mayhem(not sure how long this runs), Vamp vs. Crossbow. So, to sum it up: Fly
XWAF-40 and XWAF-98 by next Thursday. XWAF-61 after that. Post for the
Monkey Mayhem Comp. Don't worry about Vamp vs. Crossbow until after next week.
It might look like a lot, but really only 3 missions to fly right now, which
isn't much...but i wanna continue to kick butt in the SSL, and i'd like to do as
good as possible in the BGCOM comp. We got some work, so let's get it done.
COM RogueWings Immortal Strategy Wargame. This could start at any time. When it does, i'm already prepared. You'll have the details. For this one, what i'll need from you is input. Should be announced soon.
