-All Tempest Pilots are to fly FREE-TIE #208 for the Theta Invitational... and sure enough, I have *every* pilot file for the squad on time and ready to go. Congrats guys, we've nailed 100% participation :) Get used to it, because this will be the standard for all Tempest competitions!!
-Fly FREE-TIE #187, FREE-XvT #135, or FREE-XWA #97 for the Wing X Top Ace competition, due to me by the end of the month. I would like to request that *all* Tempest pilots give TIE-FREE #187 a shot, as we are a TIE squad and we have some of the best TIE pilots on the ship to boot :) If you wanna do XvT and XWA as well, feel free to, as I know I certainly be giving them a shot :)
-Fly FREE-TIE #100, FREE-XvT #32, or FREE-XWA #22 in the *fastest* time to participate in the Extra Patrol Comp. Yes, this is a time-based comp, and since it's mostly for fun I won't make it mandatory, but give it a shot anyways :) Deadline is May 25th!
-Create a banner for the Wing's Banner Competition. Anything TC-like is acceptable... long as it has a big "Join Us" on it apparantly ;P
-Recruit! While 6 is a good number, it is only half of what we could be :) If you have friends or such who like Star Wars, get em in here! If you meet some guy in the Zone who seems cool, get him in here! More pilots the better!
-If you guys have a comp idea, send it on over :) I always like trying new things, as you guys should well know as I invented TIE Golf as well as throwing speed comps down your throats long before they were used as Wing comps ;) There will be a rather large comp coming June 1st that will last the entire month... and yes we've done it before... but I won't speak too much on that one until it gets closer to the end of the month :)
-Well, the biggest news of the week is that COL Master, formerly Tornado CMDR, has transfered over to Tempest!!! COL Master deserves an especially warm welcome, because when I first took over Tempest, Master had recentely been recruited by me into the TC. He quickly became FL as a Lieutenant because... well... I had no other people who wanted to be a FL ;P But regardless Master served beside me as one of my best pilots ever, and I'm thrilled to have him back here with us. To boot, now that Master has been promoted to COL, I can now reopen the ever-infamous... ISD Challenge Colonel's Club!! That's right! The Colonel's Club! The ever-prestigious Chal bar that's always had the best booze, best nightlife, and best dishwashers... because the dishwashers have always been the LCs of the ISD Chal! Woot :)
-And as COL Master comes in, LT Sushi heads out... seeing as how he's been AWOL for 4 months, I can't say he'll be missed too much ;P
-Squadron webpage has been updated a bit, but this is only temporary as I've started working on reviving the old site from tempestsquadron.com... if you wanna see a preview of it head on IRC and I'll show you where I am in reviving it :)
-Well a tragic event happened this week... with the resignation of COL Master, Tornado Squadron has offically been squad, and thus the Chal goes back down to 5 Squads for the first time since Darklord closed Cyclone back in January of `02(which was reopened by me in March of 02).
-Congrats go to our very own COL Master, who won this month's competition of TIE Golf! Power to the Tempestations!

-A signficant change in the TC structure happened this week when the maximum rank for a FM changed from LCM to CM. Now they just have to change the maximum rank of a FL to MAJ and I'll finally get all the rank structure changes I've been whining for for years ;)
-Congrats to my former Col CMDR, COL Wysseri, on her promotion to the position of WC of Wing VIII!
-Unfortunetly due to RL problems, General Drake has had to step down from his position as WC of Wing IX. If you are intrested in applying, head over to http://www.emperorshammer.net/news.asp to get the details.
-Lieutenant Colonel Aeishline Strathaven, WC of Wing III, has also had to resign due to RL problems. No applications are being accepted at this time.
