-All Tempest Pilots are to fly FREE-TIE #164 for the Theta Invitational... so far I only have a pilot file for Rover and myself. Please get all pilot files into me ASAP, I need them in by Monday night. Let's finish up this comp strong and crush Sigma to get us some IS-BWs! :)
-Fly FREE-TIE #187, FREE-XvT #135, or FREE-XWA #97 for the Wing X Top Ace competition, due to me by the end of the month. I would like to request that *all* Tempest pilots give TIE-FREE #187 a shot, as we are a TIE squad and we have some of the best TIE pilots on the ship to boot :) If you wanna do XvT and XWA as well, feel free to, as I know I certainly be giving them a shot :) So far I have not recieved FREE-TIE #187 from anyone. While FREE-TIE #164 is the priority, don't forget about this one too!
-Fly FREE-TIE #100, FREE-XvT #32, or FREE-XWA #22 in the *fastest* time to participate(except in TIE, where it's the classic highest score)in the Extra Patrol Comp. Yes, this is a time-based comp, and since it's mostly for fun I won't make it mandatory, but give it a shot anyways :) Deadline is May 25th!
-Create a banner for the Wing's Banner Competition. Anything TC-like is acceptable... long as it has a big "Join Us" on it apparantly ;P
-Recruit! While 6 is a good number, it is only half of what we could be :) If you have friends or such who like Star Wars, get em in here! If you meet some guy in the Zone who seems cool, get him in here! More pilots the better!
-If you guys have a comp idea, send it on over :) I always like trying new things, as you guys should well know as I invented TIE Golf as well as throwing speed comps down your throats long before they were used as Wing comps ;) There will be a rather large comp coming June 1st that will last the entire month... and yes we've done it before... but I won't speak too much on that one until it gets closer to the end of the month :)
-A bit of a surprise for me, but it appears I'll be at the beach all of today, sunday, and half of monday. This isn't too long of a trip, and chances are I will probably have a computer, but just in case there's a delay in processing your TFRs or getting in contact with me, you know where I am :)
-I have decided to open up FL3 for anyone in the squad, if they desire it. So, if you're intrested in taking on the job as FL3 in Tempest, please email me with your request. Actually, I'll open this job up to anyone in the wing, but I will request a non-Tempest pilot give me a reason why they'd like this job.
-I've managed to get the entire webpage online... now it's just a matter of updating the thing since it is about a year old ;P Expect to see a new website on our roster sometime later this week :)
-Gigantic Congrats to the newly-promoted Captain Woody, who finally got Captain after having been a Commander since I rejoined 3 years ago. Now, if only we could get Rover some CPT badges... ;)
