-All Tempest pilots are encouraged to participate in the Third Annual Tempest FCHG race! This FCHG race will award an IS-BW to the pilot how manages to increase their FCHG score by the most in the course of a month! More details in the Squadron News section!
-Recruit! While 6 is a good number, it is only half of what we could be :) If you have friends or such who like Star Wars, get em in here! If you meet some guy in the Zone who seems cool, get him in here! More pilots the better!
-If you guys have a comp idea, send it on over :) I always like trying new things, as you guys should well know as I invented TIE Golf as well as throwing speed comps down your throats long before they were used as Wing comps ;) There will be a rather large comp coming June 1st that will last the entire month... and yes we've done it before... but I won't speak too much on that one until it gets closer to the end of the month :)

The hosting place I use has PHP..so hopefully someone make something for that purpose. The other is for weekly reports. Again, just like the reports on the TC domain.

-First off congrats to all of us, as we managed to pull far ahead of Sigma Squadron and win 3rd place Theta Invitational. I'm sure you all enjoy your new shiney IS-BWs, and I'm proud that we again came together as a squad and nabbed that 100% :) Get used to it guys, cause it's that strategy that will win us comps again and again and again :)
-Second, if you looked in the news page you'll see that I have indeed brough back the FCHG race!!! All of you older guys should remember this, but just in case you've forgotten the entire idea behind this comp is to see who can get the gain FCHG points in a month. This time I'm accepting anything and everything that gains: plain out good flying, top scores, even multiplayer comp wins, if you gain a FCHG point, you get a point in my book. The pilot who gains the most by the end of the month shall be awarded a IS-BW, and have the pride of being the Tempest FCHG champion.
It should be duely noted that COL Master has won this competiton the two times I've run it, but that it's *always* been close. So why don't we all give him a challenge this time(myself included) and see what we can do to lower his speed :) Comp starts as soon as this email hits the presses!
-Third comes website news. Unfortunetly r/l had me rather bogged down this week so I didn't get to have it up and running, but at this point it should only be a matter of time, and to be honest I hope to have the majority of it all working today.
What should be noted and thanked is that in the old Tempest Webpage, we had uniforms up for everyone. And the new Tempest webpage won't be any different! *Big* thanks to COL Master, who's put together dress uniforms for all of us, to be used on the new Tempest domain :)
-And as all our Wing comps come to close, we wait for the results. Personally, rumours have indicated a strong Tempest showing, so let's see how we all did eh? ;)
-There's a few thoughts in the air that we might soon find ourselves up against another wing in competition, so get ready to do what we all do best: win :)
-Congrats to two new TC flags: Colonel Frodo March who takes on the position of ISD Intrepid COM and Lieutenant Colonel Thorn who is the new Wing III Wc!
