-All Tempest pilots are to fly FREE-TIE #8, which is due to me *today*. So far I have only pilot files from myself, CM Dirk Logan, and CM Rover. Since I just got here I really can't enforce my usual policy of 100% participation in all competitions, do expect that policy to be in effect in the very near future. If you're having a technical issue or such, give me a email and tell me what's up so that I can excuse you properly :)
-Create a banner for the Wing's Banner Competition. Anything TC-like is acceptable... long as it has a big "Join Us" on it apparantly ;P
-Recruit! While 6 is a good number, it is only half of what we could be :) If you have friends or such who like Star Wars, get em in here! If you meet some guy in the Zone who seems cool, get him in here! More pilots the better!
-By order of the WC, all FLs are ordered to submit Flight Reports on a weekly basis outlining activity and events of your flight. Speaking of flights, no, I will not be appointing anyone to FL3 at this moment.
-If you have an idea or something you'd like to see Tempest do(i.e. comp idea), give me a email and tell me, I always like suggestions :)
-Well boys, after having left Tempest to go on to be COM and then leaving that to have a real life again, I now return to you, thrilled to be back in charge of this squad :) For those of you new guys here, I ran Tempest Squadron for over a year, which we spent as definetly one of the best squads in the fleet, winning every single competition we ever went into(save one against Prae when they were *super* elite ;P). And best of all, we always nabbed 100% participation. Good luck finding another squad who can claim to that title :)
I've returned to this place for two reasons. One, I missed you guys quite a bit, not the same without you guys on my wing. Two... I wanna do it again ;) We were once the undisputed best squadron in the Wing... we're gonna do that again >:) If we can conquer the Battlegroup once, there's nothing stopping us from returning in full force, and I'm ready to do my best to get us all there. So... be warned, Tempest is now on a war path >:)
-After taking a look at the website, I discovered I still have the older format Seph and I used for tempestsquadron.com, so I'll probably update the current one a bit, and then try to make the transition over to the older format, which always kicked serious butt in my opinion ;P
-TIE Golf comes to it's final round and closes. You know what's really sad? I *invented* TIE Golf for a competition in the Wing when I was Tempest CMDR. Half of the CMDRs despised it. You remember that guys? I know Chris does ;P
-There's been a slew of new battles and such this week on the Mission Compedium. Head on over and give a few of em a try!

-The Zone almost killed our XvT, XWA rooms, but fortunetly they're still up and running, just moved around a bit. The new rooms can be found at "All Games" at http://www.zone.com, under "ZoneLAN - DirectPlay". You'll find the rooms as "XWing Alliance" and "XvT Rebel Base II".
