-Now that I have had some time with all of you I am going to start looking at all of you for some postitions in the squad... I need 2 FL, an XO which I think might be a FL but not sure yet, a citations officer...If you are interested in any of these positions please send me an application telling me what you have accomplished in your time in EH, what you would like to do if your given the position and why you think that you should get it.
The things that FL's need to be able to do from IWATS Squad Management III
- Assist with the Squadron Homepage or design a homepage for the Flight
- Maintain continuous contact with the Squadron Commander and all Pilots in the squadron, not just in their Flight.
- Regularly participate in squadron and wing activities
- Learn how a squadron runs and how to manage one
- Learn procedures Squadron Commanders must follow
- Serve as an Acting Squadron Commander if the Squadron Commander is on leave
- Recruit for the squadron
- Welcome new pilots to the squadron
- Attend online meetings
- Post on Squadron or Wing message boards

-This week Im going to use Murkrows post for the Wing V run-on trying to get all of you to participate...
---Murkrow walked into the wing cantina to take a break from practicing his lightsaber technique in the cargo hold. He sat at the bar and began feeling diferent people around him, trying to get a feel for the mood of the wing. As usual he felt a few pilots conserned with the small size of the wing, as was he. He would have to prank or something to lift moral a bit. Then he felt something else, spreading around the cantina, a sence of... uneasyness, as if something important and posibly fatal were about to happen.
MD reached out in the force, extending his hearing to try and listen in on the conversations. He was surprised to hear that the wing would on an important mission. Other details were vague, as rumours usually are.
Suddenly Bubba entered the tavern, and Murkrow reached out to his friend, calling him to his end of the bar. By the time he got to the bar, Murkrow already had a Nun Beer for him, MD knew Bubba would never pass one up.
"So what is Going on Bubba? I hope you have more information than the rest of the pilots and I know you don't want me looking through your head to find the answers." MD asked as Bubba took a sip. He couldn't hold back a smile as Bubba cringed at the taste. "Something wrong with the beer?"
"What did you do to it MD?! I swear if there is fecies of any kind in this I'll...!"
Murkrow Burst out laughing at this, "Don't worry, I just put a little hotsauce in, nothing a guy like you can't keep down... at least for now. Any way, what is going on?"
"Not sure exactly. The WC is suposed to make the anoucement in a minute or two. Hopefully he will shead a bit more light on the situation."
As if on que, holo projectros all over the cantina lit up displaying the WC.
"Members of Wing V, the Grand Admiral has just ordered us to be on full combat readyness for an upcomming mission. Unfortunatly I can't be giving the plans to every one as of yet, this is still under wraps, I will be meating with your CMDRs at 0400 to discuss our plans for the mission and at 0800 I want every one else to hit the Sims. We need to be prepared, this mission very well might determin the survival of the wing!" After that, the immage fisseled out.
"I hate beeing left out of the loop like this!" Murkrow said, abviously irritated. Even with all his Jedi Trainning, he was never one to hide his emotion with smokescreens of calmness. He pulled out his commlink and set it to the WC's channel. Bubba reached over in protest but saw that it was futile and stoped.
"Maj Taralis here, who is it?" Came the voice from the other end.
"It's MAJ Defender Sir. I was wondering if I might join the CMDRs in the meeting. We are both in the same House, I'm a DJK, you can trust me and you know I'm good with tactics not to mention all my comand experiance... I think I could help."
"I'll think about it MD. Come to the meeting and I'll let you know then wether you can sit in or not."
"Yes Sir, I'll see you at 0400." Murkrow said fairly satisfied, then turned off his commlink and turned to Bubba. "If you want to get me back for the tobasco, I'll be practising against some dualing droids in the hold. Talk to you latter."

Squad Activity
-Everyone needs to turn in 1 battle or at least 4 free missions every week....It only takes about an hour to fly a battle out of the 168 hours in a week...we can all find time to fly at least one. There are other things that count towards activity...i.e. fiction for the WSR or html or graphics and also deffinetly contact with me as well as amoungst yourselves is important...but you also need to be flying.
