Welcome to the newest Kappa Squadron report. There's currently some
action going on, competition-wise, so I'll cut the introduction short
and come to the important part...


Squadron News
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯

- Remember the deadline for the SL mission (183) is TODAY at midnight.
Please submit your pilot file ASAP if you haven't done so already,
see more in the orders section.

- Both long expected, now coming almost at the same time: The next
battle assignment in OOF (Operation Outrageous fortune, in case you
forgot in the meantime) and the Theta Squadron Invitational. Again,
see orders section.

- Many congratulations go to LT Shimir Sheerelk who has been awarded a
Palpatine Crescent for outstanding activity. Keep up the good work,
Shimir. :)

Squadron Orders

- Fly FT 183 (attached) for the Sovereign League, Round 4. Deadline
is today at midnight, so please submit ASAP.

- Same mission, FT 183, for the current combat engagement in the OOF
wargame. Deadline here is tomorrow, May 10th, at noon. As you need
to fly this mission for the SL anyways, nobody should have a problem
there... but important: Submissions go BOTH to me AND VA Pel at
palinathas@aol.com.
To avoid confusion, please send two separate mails for the two comp
submissions.

- Fly FT 8 (attached, filename is TIEF-RO.zip) for TSI Round 1.
Deadline is Monday, May 12th, midnight PST (converts to 7 on Tuesday
morning in GMT).
As with the SL, submissions go to me only, I'll forward them.
Competition details in the attached "Theta.txt".

- Wing VIII WC Steps Down (HA Priyum Patel)
Due to a hectic RL situation, Lieutenant Colonel Shadd has stepped
down as Wing Commander of Wing VIII.

Applications for a new WC are now being accepted. Details and
requirements can be found here.

- XvT/BoP testers and engineers sought (AD Marcin Szydlowski)
Following the request of TCC:XvT I herby open 3 TCS and 2 TCT
positions for applications. Requirements can be found here. Good
awards for hard work and dedication.

- Zone Rooms Moved (RA Khadgar)
As you may have heard, the people at the Zone had plans to shut down
the XvT and XWA rooms. However, a petition was drafted, and the Zone
people have decided instead to merely move the rooms.

To find the new rooms, go to "All Games" at http://www.zone.com, and
go under "ZoneLAN - DirectPlay". You'll find the rooms as "XWing
Alliance" and "XvT Rebel Base II".

- Darksaber´s AD Party (VA Kyle Katarn)
Due the promotion of Darksaber to Admiral, there is a comp held in
to celebrate this promotion. The Comp is held in #ehcoc on comming
Sunday. All regular Comps will be nulled for this. For more

- CA:TAC resigns and joins rDB (AD Marcin Szydlowski)
I've came back from leave, and I've been informed by my CA, that
resigns from EH and joins traitors. I am not too happy with that.
So, I will be looking for new CA, but not right now.
