CPT Alec Qarni jumped out of his TIE Advanced, after having ostensibly flown or something, and made his way into the briefing room. The assembled pilots, most of whom were rotting and maggot-infested, festered. The few who showed some signs of life nodded at their new commander and went back to playing video games. Alec took the podium, waited for a few minutes, and then left. He exited the room, not even catching the eye of his FL Patrick Blastfire, caught up in a game of Civilization III.

Alec walked silently to his new quarters, still relatively bare, and took a seat at his workstation. He logged in, checked his mail, and then clicked on "Create Mail."

"<Salute>," he wrote. "CPT Alec Qarni jumped out of his TIE Advanced, after having ostensibly flown or something, and made his way into the briefing room."

NEWS

In keeping with the tradition of laziness, I'm not gonna bother cluttering the reports with TC-wide news. Go read the news page if you care, and it'll be on the Wing and Ship reports anyway.

However, I will have my news and squadron news. In MY news, I have great elation entering my life. I took this commandering position with a grain of salt, but all in all I have great hopes... Today was my last day of school. I graduated the 11th grade and got over a 4.0. Hoo-ah! So now I have a summer to devote to sitting around thinking "I should be doing something..."

Actually, I will be doing stuff. If I'm really good I'll be able to complete at least the fiction part of my fiction/battle masterpiece. It'll take me about a week to get back in the creativity groove though. Also, I'll be getting my FCHG above 1000 this summer, into some respectable numbers. Those are my plans, anyway.

Enough about me. About the squadron: Pleased to report that absolutely nothing has happened.

ACTIVITY

1) CPT Alec Qarni - I did nearly nothing. This weekend I'll be doing an XW battle or two, maybe some MP, and basically recovering from school.
2) CM Sayo Hirosho - Actually answered my first email, which puts him in the top few pilots so far.
3) LC Strahd - Zero
4) COL Zippy Hawk - My first email bounced from his account. So did my second. It is full and I have absolutely no idea how to contact him. If anyone else does, please inform me...
FLIGHT II - TIE ADVANCED
1) TBA - About as active as everyone else... If you are looking to fill this position, get some activity done by the end of the month, at which point I will choose a suitable pilot to promote.
2) LCM Victor Kage - Also responded to my email, thank you Vic.
3) LT Steel - Zero.
4) COL E. Tarkin - Responded to the Wing-wide email that I was the new commander, which i counted as proof of being alive. Quite an accomplishment, really.
FLIGHT III - TIE ADVANCED
1) CM Patrick Blastfire - Same as Tarks
2) CM Ultima - nooooooooooooothing.
3) MAJ Blair Vallyn - Email also bounced. I can at least talk to Glorick though, they know each other.
4) COL Ekim Yellek - Resigned and subsequently disappeared... he has about 18 thousand Army things to do, so I won't bother him too much.


Yay. Now a reminder: I WANT SIGNS OF LIFE BY TUESDAY and SIGNS OF ACTIVITY BY THE END OF THE MONTH!!! I don't like having only 5/11 pilots even in the same plane of existence. Now, this is the first week, and this report is already late, so i won't add all the crap i plan on doing later.

So, in conclusion: Do stuff. Please. We want the ship to get to 60 pilots, and it won't help if I have to AWOL half my squad.
