Hey Squadron Report for April 27th through May 3rd 2003.

Hey Hey! Time for another Hey Squadron report! A fairly quiet week, but I
do have some news to report, so let's do it!

SQUADRON NEWS

Congratulations to CM Maw'la, Hey Squadron Top Ace for April! Maw'la's got
a run on victories in this competition! Someone give this man some
competition!

I finally got VS .NET reinstalled on Deadpool. Website updates will
commence as soon as I remember which backup CD I have the Hey Squadron site
files on. I'm kinda bored and sick of drinking (heresy, I know for Wing III
and a college guy), so I'll probably look for 'em tonight.

Hmm, I should announce a battle for this month, now that I think of it.
Let's be daring and try out XWA-TC #34, or whatever new battle was just
released. It'll be listed under FLEET NEWS, anyway...

Other than that, not much to report here.

TAC going on leave

MISCELLANEOUS
-------------

I was just doing some thinking while I was typing this report. Anyone
interested in having an FCHG race? I haven't flown much in quite a while
and an FCHG race would give me something to shoot for. My FCHG rank is just
shy of 400, but that alone isn't getting me in the cockpit. If I get enough
interested parties, I may make it a competition.

I also got my Radeon 9800 Pro installed Wednesday. Splinter Cell looks
awesome on high detail. Also obtained a new replacement DVD drive for my
Gateway (old one wore out, wouldn't stay closed unless physically restrained
from opening). That took about half an hour to get working, I should have
read the manual first (another example of a guy overestimating his
mechanical/technical knowledge). Stupid master/slave jumper...

I think that about does it for this week.
