----Fleet News----

-As the FO got disconnected on yesterdays meeting, I don't have FO meeting news for you today but some other news instaead :P

-COMM Stuff
Fleet Admiral Aiden Cantor Karias:
I had a problem with my notebook's CPU malfunctioning last week, so if any of you have sent me an email that you were expecting some sort of response to (ie. forum modification), and you haven't gotten a response yet, please re-email me.

Also, I am looking for people who go to weekly sub-group meetings on a regular basis to collect logs from those meetings for me. If you're interested, please email me at io@absolutek.ca.

-Some new missions have been released (especially try XWA-Free#104, I designed it :P)

-Avenger Flag Staff Appointed

Congratulations to the new former Wing XVIII WC, Rear Admiral Davi Anthol who has been selected as the new SSD Avenger Commodore.

Taking over as Wing Commander of XVIII is Major Jaron Kai. Congrats to her!

Here is what AD Krax announced in yesterdays TC meeting:

BGs News
A quick word on our non-medal flying comp...
Twelve pilots took part, including one from the Sov. Kudos go out to LT Scabo of Alpha Squadron for showing initiative and getting a good score in the process. The mission used was XWAF-1.
CM Deimos of Vampire Squadron set a new mission high score, and CAPT Sarn (Sword Squadron), MAJ Hunter (Falcon Squadron), and CM Reese (also of Vampire) all broke the 10k point mark.
For those who are interested the rankings can be found on the TIE Corps Battlegroups Forum.
There are still two BGs comps in progress; designing a banner for Squadron and Wing of the month. See the forum for more info.
On that note…it's a bit late, but the of the Month awards for May have been decided. They are:
Pilot of the Month: Zystem Fryar, Wing VIII, ISD Colossus
Commander of the Month: COL Locke Setzer, Tempest Squadron, Wing X, ISD Challenge
Squadron of the Month: Vampire Squadron, Wing XI, ISD Immortal
More info will be in the BGCOM report, which should be out later today. My congratulations go out to those who won for May, and the awards for June will be expanded to include Wing of the Month.
My COMs are standing by with news regarding their ships, so I'll not bore you with any details there.

Here are the news GN Drake (yes, Drake :P) announced in yesterdays TC Meeting:

-Here are my news from yesterdays Relentless Meeting (yes, we have a meeting in case you didn't mention yet :P):
It's been a slow week so far, but here are my news:
1. I've started some big recruitment efforts yesterday and I hope that we get some new
new pilots soon.
2. I got the third place in the BGCOM-wide no-medal flying Competition.
3. LCM Dukimar was awarded an IS-BW for winning Sword Ace Comp Week 9 and an IS-BR for
winning Sword Ladder Comp, congrats to him.
4. I was awarded a MoT-gH for designing XWA-Free#104 (fly it :P)
5. Sword vs. Hammer (Word vs. Outlook Comp :P) ends tomorrow, so files can still be
submitted (speaking to Sword and Hammer pilots here :P)

-Nobody did participate in Sword Ace Comp Week 10 (no participation for the first time), I'm disappointed about this, I want you to fly the same mission for Sword Ace Comp Week 11, this time with a higher participation, I'll send a mail with the assignment around.

This Week wasn't quite like I like it. Ok, almost everybody reported in but I was the only one flying and that's just not enough. The good thing is that I know what's up with you guys and you're all having some RL struggles atm so I'm not mad at you but I would like to see a little higher flying activity this Week. There are also lots of Comps going on, so take part (you don't have to take part in everything), show what Sword can do :-). I know that you guys can do better, you already proved it.
