NEWS

As we all know and loathe, Snij is our newest Commander, in Echo Squadron. Join me in simultaneously congratulating and detesting him! Yay! Die! Yay!

The Scorpion Kickstart competition certainly kickstarted… two of you. I can’t say I’m extremely impressed, but what can I expect? It’s summer… on the Vanguard. I may or may not have upcoming enticements, though, and there are always the wing-wide comps, which I’ll forthwith be including in my reports. Just to remind all y’all. Anyway, yay for Tarkin, who had the highest score in the comp and wins a shiny yet useless IS-BW.

My news: I’ve kinda just been sitting around, and our faaaabulous BGCOM Darksaber hired me to do some work for him, so yay. Something to do other than my masterpiece fiction and battle. I’ve also been playing a lot of Rebellion lately, probably in the real-time strategy mode after beating Populous. I have also surpassed my 2-year mark, making it a respectable time since I first set foot in the halls of Scorpion Squadron as 2-3... And I have never left.

Also, the Ministry of Truth is continuing to make sure there are no more references to "other" CMDRs of Scorpion, since I have always and will always be the CMDR.

1: Deal with Real. (Just made that one up!) Real life is where it's at, and nothing in the TC can supersede it, so remember that this is all fun… not an obligation.

2: Fly! It’s summer… If you’re off of school, you either have no time, or a lot of time! Please find some time, whatever you’re doing, to just fly a battle here and there, or attend a comp or soooomething.

3: Do other stuff! Creating a new banner or website or even some new nicknames/slogans might very well be worthy of a medal at some point, and would certainly help your standing in my eyes… And showing up on IRC or just mailing me for whatever reason can’t hurt at all.
