-The WC has announced the beginning of the Wing X vs Wing XX comp! This is a great oppertunity to show everyone that we are still quite the force to be recknoned with across the TC! Here are the details:
Part I - Fly TIE FREE #219, XvT FREE #97, XWA FREE #102 for the SP portion
Part II - Multiplayer flying in groups of 1v1 and 2v2 will be conducted in channels #asf and #wing_x. (I could use a multiplayer partner, so if someone's game, email me ;))
Part III - Create a fiction dealing with a night of drunken behaviour where some of us Wing X pilots run into pilots from Wing XX.
Part IV - A graphics competition in which a Wing X Cantina banner must be made, keeping in the spiritness of drunkness and such ;)
All of these can be submitted at any time throughout the month of July! All I ask is that everyone at least do TIE-FREE #219, everything else is up to you, though I hope you guys get into some of the other events as well, cause this should be fun :)
-Please contact the WC at jan.thriene@web.de so that he knows you're not dead. Tis a nice thing I know none of you will have a problem doing ;) Just try to take care of it ASAP alright?
- All Tempest pilots are encouraged to participate in the Third Annual Tempest FCHG race! This FCHG race will award an IS-BW to the pilot how manages to increase their FCHG score by the most in the course of a month! The current standings are as follows:

I stop counting for this on July 2nd, so there's still time to get some more missions in!
-COL Master has started a run-on, so see if you can get in and try to continue on to the crazy story that's begun over here at the message board!
-COL Master has also started a Wing X Morale comp, where you must submit a document that basically glorifies another officer of this ship. While entrees aren't due till the 14th of July, I'd say it'd be best to get entrees in ASAP eh? :)
-Recruit! While 6 is a good number, it is only half of what we could be :) If you have friends or such who like Star Wars, get em in here! If you meet some guy in the Zone who seems cool, get him in here! More pilots the better!.
-If you guys have a comp idea or something you'd like to see on the webpage, or even something you think that we, as a squadron should do, please, send it on over! I'm always up for new ideas and such and I especially like getting them from all of you guys :)
-Well alright, let's start today's news off with a big congratulations to Colonel Master, who today turned 21. Enjoy yourself today mate, and feel free to have a drink on me ;)
-Thanks to all of you for getting your entreees for FREE-TIE #233 in to me. I was actually a couple days early, so I really shouldn't have pestered you guys and I apologize for that. But hey, we got 100% participation again in this comp and we got it early, so be proud of yourselves guys, cause I know I'm proud of you :)
-Speaking of Colonel Master, he's offically back as FL3 for this squadron, a spot he held for the majority of the time he was first here. Now I'm getting quite nostalgic ;)
-In other news, earlier this week I was awarded the title of Battlegroup CMDR of the Month for the month of May. This is... quite surprising, and twas actually the first time I ever recieved this award as well. So, I was quite honoured by it and I really have to thank all of you guys for having been so cooperative with me since I got back. May was only a taste of what we can do, and this month we've been going even stronger, just look at the FCHG race standings! I can't wait to see what July will bring us to :)
-I also was awarded TAC Pilot of the Week. Was this past week my lucky week or what? ;)
-Well congrats to our two newest victims, errr LTs, LT Ryan and LT Jack Dawl! I'm sure they'll be keeping Woody on his toes ;)
-The position of Wing XX WC has become avaliable. If you are a member of the DB and intrested, head over to EH.org for all the info.
-Congrats to two people with new jobs: AD Mell Kerrigan who is now the ISP, and Rear Admiral TK-2107 who is now the Subjugator COM, replacing Mell.
-A couple of new battles have come avaliable. Speaking of battles, I'm currently working on the first actual battle I've done in years. Coming along quite nicely and with a little luck, I'll have it to the TAC office in a couple of days :)
