Talon was on a roll lately. Having been granted 4 new citations this week and shown well in combat missions, Major Drax felt the squad was doing well. At the rate they were going, earning even more citations would only be a matter of time.

Squadron News

1. First, I would like to say that I am impressed with the level of activity that most of the squadron is showing. Adding four more squadron citations to our already impressive count of 21 from last week has made me a happy Commander. I would like to see us get citations for all the XWA-TC battles in the compendium. The ones that we are missing are: 12, 15, 20-22, 24, 25, 29-31, 34, and 35. So, if you are flying any battles for FCHG, I would like these battles to take precedent.

2. I'd like to see us pull a wing victory for BJ this month, so make sure to get out there and do all the events that you can. I'm happy to see Conan on the list of participants, but would like to see more pilots from Talon up there.

3. Wing X vs Wing XX "Who's the true X?" competition is on. Details can be found at http://home.arcor.de/web_admin/competitions.htm as well as on the TC database. Go out there and show those X'ers that we are twice the X they could ever hope to be.

4. I have noticed something recently about the pilot files that I have been getting. Some of there are not named so that they can be easily identified, and are causing me to have problems BSF'ing them. From now on, ever pilot file that is submited to me will have the following format for the file name: PIN# Platform-Type Number 

So the proper way for me to submit X-wing Alliance Tie Corps Battle 29 would be as follows: 270 XWA-TC 29.plt. Please make sure to follow this to the T. I cannot be asking pilots just what battle or mission each pilot file comes from every time. This will server to speed up your BSF processing, and make my life loads easier.

5. Umm, need something more.... uh.... Pie is good. I like pie. That is all.
