PHANTOM SQUADRON REPORT ISSUE # 1

Welcome to my first report as Phantom Commander. I'd like to thank RogueWing and Badlands for giving me this opportunity. I am happy with what's been going on so far and I have many things in store for this squadron. Now here's a small fiction to start things off:
Commander Tek Selkirk set down the box with various personal belongings on his new desk. "An office, what is all this space for?" Tek thought as he proceeded out of the room and towards the bridge.
"Vice Admiral RogueWing, Commander Tek Selkirk reporting for duty." Tek said loosely. He wondered what RogueWing's reaction would be.
"Good morning, Commander. I'm glad to see you here early. Phantom Squadron is in need of a good, qualified leader, don't let me down." RogueWing looked out the viewport of the ISD-II Immortal. RogueWing wondered if he had made the right decision. Well, he thought, he'd find out soon enough, everyone would.
[Squadron News]
1. Tek Selkirk was selected as new Phantom CO. I think I was the only applicant, which is sad, but nevertheless, I'll do my best.
2. Lieutenant Jarek La'an has been chosen by me as the new XO/FL2. I beleive in his ability to set an example and help me with anything I may need. Congradulations, the change should take affect within a week.
3. We need a new Phantom Website, if anyone is interested contact me. A shiny medal for anyone willing to do one!
4. Competitions on the horizon. These will be talked about later.
[Status]
We are currently at six pilots. This is okay, but I would prefer more. I know some of you are working on finding recruits, but keep an eye out for friends or relatives who we can get here to have some fun!
Competitions- I want to know what kind of competitions you guys would like to have. I have some ideas such as: Free Mission High Score Comps, Graphics, Fiction, FCHG Races, or anything else you guys can think of. All you have to do is tell me =) In about two to three weeks, we will be having a comp vs Hornet Squadron of the ASF. I'll give you more info as I get it.
XTT- This is off topic, but I thought I'd throw it in. If you guys don't know, I'm the professor for XvT Tactics. This(and all IWATS course) is a great opportunity for some activity guys!

Phantom of the Week: This was a tough decision guys. I decided to be fair and award both Vailon and Jerod Phantom of the Week! Don't get the wrong impression from the graphic, this REALLY is an honor to win =P Plus, if you manage to win this 4 times, you will get an ISM for your efforts! Congrats guys!

This brings me to my next topic, flying assignments. Thanks to VinDoros, I have a snazy citations program that assigns battles to fly. Of course, any flying you guys do during the week is great, but if you want to help the squadron get some citations, fly the battle(s) assigned to you first:
