Well first things first.....Welcome back to the Intrepid and welcome to Krayt, MAJ Blade :) Great to have you aboard with us and we look forward to you helping us kick some a$$ >:) It's been another quiet week in the squadron, which is a little disappointing, but we've still got the weekend to redeem ourselves by beating Asp in the Krayt v Asp Squadron Comp! On that note, get to work boys and enjoy the report!

 

 

General News;

 

 - Frodo has started another comp for us aboard the Intrepid. It's similar to the Supremacy Comp that was in January, so check it out at http://www.emperorshammer.net/competitions/details.asp?ID=676. Frodo has also finally put the stats online, and they're usually updated daily. The URL for the stats site is: http://www16.brinkster.com/intshire/IntComp.htm.

 - The TAC's Mission Compendium has reached 3000 missions! There was also some more battles released this week: XvT-TC 74-77, XvT-Free 148 and TIE-TC 212....Fly em! ;)

 - The TAC is also on leave until tomorrow, so if your waiting for some high scores...thats probably why :P

 - MAJ Devin, Wing V Commander has been stepped down due to inactivity/inability to get comms with him. Congratulations to the new Wing V WC Colonel Gen Es'mith!

 - Another Wing Commander has been selected this past week, with MAJ TK-7764 being promoted to WC of Wing XX, aboard the ISD-II Subjugator

 - SA Astatine also announced this week that our historical records will now show the length of time we've held our previous position.

 - FA Ari and the IO staff are also asking people who know how to Code PHP to contact them as to being included on a coders 'roster' for themselves, and other branches of the EH to have access to a range of PHP coders and skill levels. Check the TC news page for more details!

 - A new XWA Mission Design tutorial was also announced this week, created by VA RogueWing, one of the best XWA designers in the EH. Check it out at http://www.minos.net/~immortal/noob/index.html and become ub3r-l33t mission designers just like Roguey!! ;)

 - Darksaber's ASF Banner Comp finished on the 6th of July. Results are: 1st place: CM CrimsonFury (IS-GR), 2nd place: CPT Serge Broskof (IS-SR) and 3rd place: MAJ Praetorian. Congrats to all!

 - HA Priyum Patel 2 Graphics comps have closed, results are pending.

 - Pri's INPR writing comp is still going, finishing on the 13th of July. Check the TC news page for more details.

 

Squadron News;

 

 - RECRUIT.....RECRUIT.....RECRUIT!!!! ;)

 - Krayt Squadron Website is back up again -- http://krayt.squadron.org/ -- It's also updated!

 - LT Hobbes was AWOL'd this week due to continued inactivity, let this be a reminder....I dont ask for too much, just be active and do what you can each week :) 

- The Krayt v Asp Squadron Comp finishes this Saturday midnight. Asp currently leads 30 to 10. We're loosing! It's time to kick the tyres and light the fires and smack these Asp'ers down. We have all weekend...plenty of time!! ;)

 - I'd also like to welcome a new member to the Krayters and back to the Intrepid.....MAJ Blade!!!! Welcome back to the wing and to Krayt Bladey, I'm sure you'll have fun here :)

 - The 'Standard' rounds of the Sovereign Squadron League have now concluded. I have received the overall results  for each squadron, but we will not receive the FULL stats for the comp - which will include subsections(e.g. 'Space Superiority') until this weekend probably. Anyway, I just wanted to publish some of Krayt Squadron's finishing stats for the comp.

 

Overall: 24th in TIE (of 35 squadrons), 13th in XvT (of 22 squadrons) & 12th in XWA (of 31 squadrons).

  - Not bad a finish for our small squadron eh? I'm proud of you guys for getting us into these positions, and helping us show our wares in a big TC wide comp :)

  - I also finished 10th overall in Round 8 for X-wing Alliance!

 

 * Remember though guys, we can still fly for individual stats/medals in the playoffs. The first round of Playoff BATTLES are due on July 15th. As usual, please have them in to me by the 14th to ensure I can send them in in time! The XWA Battle is XWA-DB 4 "The Shadow Academy: Dark Fury" and the XvT-Battle is XvT-TC 75 "Distress Call" and the TIE Battle is TIE-TC 169 "The Rooster Trap". Dont forget guys, the 'One pilot file, one try' rule still applies for XvT. So copy your XvT PLT after every mission so you dont have to start over!!!
