FO News:
The Flight Office banner competition comes to a close today
I've received a fair number of entries, some good and some cack
I'll decide on a winner and announce it sometime tomorrow.
A reminder that the Flight Officer's INPR Competition is still running until next Sunday - details on the TC news page
A congratulations to all the recent promotees...

Historical records will now calculate the time a member has held a particular position/ID line.

-TAC will be on leave from 9th till 11th of July, RA Philo is in charge of the TAC office then.

-The EH Mission Compendium did hit 3000 missions in the last week, which is a great thing as we can fly even more now :P

Here is what our BGCOM, AD Krax announced in yesterdays TC meeting:

It's been a quiet week in the BGs…perhaps because everyone is working so hard on their MSEs. (Or not)
Wing X and Wing XX are involved in a major competition, and two BGs squadrons have advanced to the SSL finals. Good luck Pi and Vampire!
One of our major BG projects is now over halfway through its testing period, and results are good.

Here are the news that our WC, Maj Cray announced in yesterdays TC Meeting:

1: CPT Tiger has been assigned command of Crossbow Squadron. Congrats and good luck to him.
2: The Wing Commander's Cup continues! All submissions are due by July 20th, so get to work and get them in ASAP!
3: We have two new members in our wing! Welcome SL Bryan Marshall and MAJ Jaruus!
4: MAJ Tycho Ackbar was named Cadet Recruitment Officer for the ship. So far he's doing a great job. Keep up the good work.
4a. Tycho has created a Cadet Help site: http://www.cadet.minos.net. Everyone check it out!
5: We are still looking for a Reserves Recruitment Officer. Send apps to the COM and CC me just for the fun of it. :P
6: Congrats to Shield Squadron on winning Wing Commander's Own for June, 2003. It was very, very close but they pulled out ahead of all the rest. Well done!
7: Congrats to newly promoted COLONEL Gunman. It's a long deserved promotion for a really great CMDR.
8: My Monthly Wing Evaluation has been submitted. A really good month for us. I'm hoping the next one will be even better!

-[ `Tyke ]- 1. The only ones I know are recruiting are the CMDRs and a Sword pilot. Everyone should be recruiting and then emailing me.

-[ `Tyke ]- 3. We have a few cadets from Gunman and Sarn, who may be persuaded to join us

Here are my news from yesterdays Rel meeting:

-[ CPT_Sarn ]- 1. LCM Dukimar was awarded an IS-BW for winning Sword Ace Comp Week 11. Congrats :-)
-[ CPT_Sarn ]- 2. Expect a close race for Sword Ace Comp Week 12, I'll announce the winner tomorrow.
-[ CPT_Sarn ]- 3. Expect some new Comps coming up in Sword soon (I still need to submit them though :P)
-[ CPT_Sarn ]- 4. Some people are thinking of committing crimes so HCI sends them to vacations, I can only
-[ CPT_Sarn ]- warn those people, it's not worth it...the beer on the Rel is much better.


-I expect that you are waiting for me to announce the Sword Ace Comp Week 12 winner now :P.
...And you're right. It was a close fight, Nom even had two submissions but in the end Dukimar did win with a last-minute submission and will get the IS-BW, congrats Duke and great work Duke and Nom, I'm pleased :-)

I must say that I liked this Week, we had a close fight for Sword Ace Comp, people were flying again, even started to participate in the Wing Commanders Cup. And that's the point which I'm not too happy with. We could participate more in that Competition. Check it again or ask me to forward you that mail, there's plenty of room for Participation and lots of medals to win. I want you to show what Sword can do to the Wing, so get your Skates on and participate! Besides that keep your work up :-).
