Weekly Squadron Report
This is CM Vladet Xavier reporting in for Crusader Squadron on July 18th, 2003
<`Choosh> holy god, I put some cadets on my AIM list, and one has been on for 2 days 19 hours!
From the Commander's Office
Alright, some people have decided to play it smart, and actually check in. Good job. However, our activity is nowhere close to last month's. I'm sorry to say if we keep up this dwindling amount of activity, Wing Commander's Own will slip from our grasp.
I snagged an Imperial Security Medal (ISM) from OPS just a day or so ago. Apparantly it's for being a comp. host for the EH Combat Operations Center for a month. Was well longer than that, but whichever.
Finally! We have a new squadron website! Hats off to Rear Admiral Autoris Maximus for setting up a SquadFirst template for me. The website is located at http://www.crusader.tiecorps.net. For helping, I awarded Auto an Imperial Security Medal (ISM), although I wish I could have awarded more.
On an even happier note, I'm pleased to say multi-player activity is rising in the squadron, and in the Wing. Lt. Commander Somnos and myself are actively playing matches in #ehcoc on a regular basis. Remember, if you have a 56k modem (or faster), you should be playing multi-player. Not sure how? Ask.

Grey Wolf Training Night is off to a decent start, and the format of it has been changed, somewhat. If you attend, you'll know. Congratulations to Rem on snagging 2nd place (and an IS-BW) last Sunday. Remember, I want to see a good turnout from this squadron. We're there to make our friends and wingmates great.
Admiral Darksaber has "Anna Darksaber" going on right now. You've all been e-mailed, its been on the boards, and its been on his reports.

The COMM Officer has started IRC Quote of the Week. If you find a funny quote in IRC, send it in to the COMM, and it'll be displayed in his Weekly Report, plus medals are going to awarded, he says.
Parallax War is underway. All daily comps are hereby cancelled until August 1st. Join #Parallax to take part in this mult-club war! See you there!

Final Thoughts
Some MSE goodies are still going through OPS. Yes, even some from many months ago. Please don't annoy our flags asking where your medals are. I'm sure they're coming soon (hopefully).
I especially encourage you to participate in this new Grey Wolf Training comp. You'll be recieving top of the grade teaching, and the chance to earn Iron Stars. Not to mention it does look awfully good in your end of the month evaluations. *hint hint*
Remember people, as I have mentioned before: This is a multi-player ship and battlegroup. While flying multi-player is not mandatory (and I certainly won't make you do it), that is what we're here for. Plus, it's far more fun than single-player, especially when we have 2v2s and 3v3s. Trust me, it's a blast.
