Squadron Report III

Yeah, I know this is so late It’s barely even worth reading, but Protocol demands that I make one anyway……:P
You know, nothing of interest at all has happened as of late in the Squadron. As far as I know all we’ve had are a few medals awarded and a plt or two. This is disturbing to me, as an inactive Squadron can mean only one of two things, Pilots not making enough spare time to spend on their online accounts, or something lacking in a Squadron Commander.
`Course, that might just be my paranoia acting up again….

NEWS.
In other news, the EH Mission Compendium hit 3000 battles on Wednesday the 2nd, which means that lack of available missions is no longer an excuse for not flying.

The FO has forked out another competition for us. This time we get to re-write his INPR. Awards go to the best entries, and the only rules are along the lines of good taste.
Try to make them as imaginative as possible, something tells me that a too-serious entry will be discarded.
Submissions go direct to the HA (spellfire@btinternet.com)
Entries close July 13th, which gives us 5, count them, *5* days.

Still nowhere near getting the Python site up, I need Prae to give me the info first……
Of course, our esteemed ex-Commander has conveniently left town for 6 or so weeks for military training. Yes! Prae’s off to join the Army! Wish him luck and keep away from his beer, now that he has weapon skills…:P

MORAL.
I’ll be honest, I’ve been slack this week since I got back from leave, and haven’t spared the time to find us a Moral Officer for the week.
So after a bit of frantic searching of my computers Hard drive, I came up with nothing. So, considering how late this report already is, I decided to wave the complimentary picture this week.


MISC.
We Need new Members, and especially a new FL, so let get out there and recruit!
I’ll be more specific. We need member who are, or plan to be in the near future, ACTIVE! This includes existing Pythoneers, as I have only gotten regular emails from 3 or 4 of you since becoming commander.
I’ll give you guys until next weeks WSR to prove to me that you’re not slacking, else you’ll be on the endangered pilots list, I’m not joking.

Squadron Positions!
Hear Ye! Hear Ye! Python be in need of a few good men to help in its running smoothly. We already have a TAC (Frankie), but we need a TO (Tactical Officer, in charge of Recruitment for Python) IO (Internet Officer, The person I referrer to when people ask me for help with their browsers, and tends to the site when its up.) and XO (Executive Officer, the person I get to do the work that doesn’t require CMDR clearance…:P)
Get those resumes on my desk post haste, and don’t forget that we need a new Flight III Leader, anyone with the credentials is welcome to try out.

Requirments.
Keep in contact with Flight Members
· Review medal recommendations from Flight Members
· Review comments, questions, etc from Flight Members
· Report to Squadron Commander with recommendations
· Be familiar with primary reference materials (Training Manual, etc)
· Be familar with primary TIE Corps and Emperor's Hammer webpages (Emperor's Hammer domain, TIE Corps domain, TIE Corps roster, message board, etc)
· Submissions for the Emperor's Hammer Newsletter (sent to the Executive Officer)
· Post/read the Emperor's Hammer message boards (where possible)
· Participate in competitions (where possible)
· Attend on-line meetings (where possible)
Online Requirements: Minor. Answering E-Mail from Flight Members and contact with Squadron Commander. (average 2-3 hours/week)

Alright, new regime. Due to the lack of activity, I’m imposing a dictatorship rule. Any pilot caught not being active will immediately have his head removed from his shoulders as a warning to oth…..err, I mean, be strongly reprimanded.
