-The competition between Wing X and Wing XX is drawing to a close! You guys have until the 30th to submit one of the below to me! As always, here are tghe details:
Part I - Fly TIE FREE #219, XvT FREE #97, XWA FREE #102 for the SP portion! The scores I've gotten so far for this part have been rather good, so great job there guys :) Hopefully I'll see two missing TFRs on my desk soon :)
Part II - Multiplayer flying in groups of 1v1 will be conducted in channel #asf. Not much of this has gone on, so it might not be a bad idea to give it a shot, eh?
Part III - Create a fiction dealing with a night of drunken behaviour where some of us Wing X pilots run into pilots from Wing XX in classic bad sitcom confrontation style ;)
Part IV - A graphics competition in which a Wing X Cantina banner must be made, keeping in the never ending spiritness of drunkness worthy to be part of the ISD Challenge.
All I really want is FREE-TIE #219, but I've been happy to get a number of other entrees in other catagories from you guys as well this month :)
-The Tempest Run-on continues! This week it kind of stayed still, so let's see if we all can't get on there sometime this week(myself included) and add a little bit more to it :)
-The Tempest Squadron Campaign of Dominance will begin anew in August. After being rejected by one CMDR who was quite chicken, I have set up a challenge later in August against Kappa Squadron, who should be a good challenge for all of us, so be prepared for that! :) However, I'm still gonna try to set up one squadron match before that... perhaps a Chal squadron would step up to the plate to go against us ;)
-Recruit! It pays off, it brings in pilots, it's good for everyone!
-Well, by now hopefully some of you guys have taken a look at my little run-on inspired free mission "Save Dirk Logan's Marriage" :) I do hope to do a few more frees like that that involve various members of Tempest Squadron, so be warned, you could be next ;) But either way, I think that free is some of my best work yet, so lay back and enjoy and feel free to comment upon :)
-Ammy applied for TOA, joining in the large Tempest Takeover conspiracy inside the TO office ;P
-I hit the magical 1000 FCHG points this week, making me the second Tempestation to go over 1000 this month, first being Master :)
-Other than that, twas a pretty quiet week this time in Tempest. Perhaps a few events next week will spice things up a bit ;)
-Now comes citation time! As always, these are non-mandatory, but they are quite helpful in increasing the number of citations we have, and better the appearance of our squad as a whole :)

-The TAC office is hiring new testers for TIE. If you have some spare time and don't mind flying a battle every now and then, I highly encourage this, as the TAC office is definetly in need of some good testers at the moment. Email our own LC Styles if you're intrested in the job.
