Hey guys. This WSR signals the end of another great week within the squadron. I dont think I've ever BSF'd so many files in a week before! As at the writing of this report, the squad has turned in the equivalent to a whopping 27 pilot files! On top of that I even had to do 9 for Gaunt, whilst I'm caretaker of Cobra until Kettch returns, so I've had a busy week...but I'm not one to complain about getting BSF's ;) In fact, despite Blade being away for the next week or so(which will become a regular occurence for him for now) I would like to see us keep up this level for the rest of the month! I should have a copy of TIE 95 sometime this weekend, so I'll be attempting to get in 20 or so battles by next report...You've been warned Phantom :P Thanks to this level of flying Krayt is also now in 3rd place in the Intrepid Activity Comp! 'Grats guys and keep it up...

 

 

General News;

 - The Wing's Intrepid Activity Comp is still on. Frodo has also finally put the stats online, and they're usually updated daily. The URL for the stats site is: http://www16.brinkster.com/intshire/IntComp.htm.

 - FA AbK has now started a Quote of the Week(QotW) competition for the TC. If you come across a funny line(s) of text in IRC while chatting, why not copy it to an email and send it in to AbK!? You might even be rewarded for this in the near future! ;)

 - A new Multiplayer Comp between the EH and The Rebel Alliance(TRA) and FES has begun. It is called the "Parallax War" and it is held daily in the channel #parallax. The comp is on until the 31st of July...more details on the TC news page.

 - General Badlands, Wing XI Wing Commander stepped down this week due to RL issues. Therefore, the WC position is open!

 - FA Ari, the EH's Internet Officer has just completed his 100th report as IO. Party is on the Sovereign...so get over there if you can :D

 - A new XWA Mission Design tutorial was also announced last week, created by VA RogueWing, one of the best XWA designers in the EH. Check it out at http://www.minos.net/~immortal/noob/index.html and become ub3r-l33t mission designers just like Roguey!! ;)

 - HA Priyum Patel 2 Graphics comps have closed. Congrats to CM Colhar Jeth Sudar for winning the Banner GFX comp, and MAJ Alex Foley for winning the FO Link Banner comp.

 - Pri's INPR writing comp finished on the 13th of July. Results are TBA.

 - Medals from my first MSE(!) were awarded this month, congratulations to myself and SavageAz who received a Palpatine Cresent each.

 - Congrats also go out to our very own LT Obiwan for being promoted to Lt. Commander. 'Grats LCM Obiwan, the drinks are on you this weekend ;)

 - We have had a great week activity wise, with myself having to complete about 27 or so BSFs. This also means that we are currently the 3rd placed Squadron in the comp.

 - The SSL Comp's first Playoff round has come to an end earlier this week. I sent in a submission for XWA, but did not receive any from the rest of you. Dont forget you can still submit battles to go towards your individual standings for the Competition. You can also simply send me a copy of your pilot file if you have already flown it. XvT is a pain because of the 'one file, one try' rule, but XWA and TIE you have no excuse to not fly ;)

I've decided to give the PotW honour this week to MAJ Blade!!! Sav flew more, but Blade's entry into the squadron has been amazing! Drops back into an active squad from the reserves and gets straight back into it with 6 battles and 4 free missions. Well done Bladey!! :)
