NEWS

Major news: TOP FRICKIN’ DOG! Yes, this wonderful comp that I bet half of you aren’t yet aware of is starting in about 8 hours… Friday. I sent a mail to everyone asking for a reply outlining what you plan to do for TD… the idea is that if you say you’ll do something you’re more likely to actually DO it. Next Monday will be the first installment of trivia for Top Dog, so when you get those questions please take a bit of time to answer at least the ones you already know… each correct answer is a point and every point counts.

Otherly “news:” My Scorpion Kickstart II comp ended on Monday, a more dismal failure than the first. I got zero (0) submissions. That includes me… I wasn’t about to be the only person flying it. So… No medal! How fun!

There’s really not much in news this week because everything is revving up for Top Dog. As you should be. I’m not gonna be too disappointed at lack of activity this week cause 1) I didn’t do all that much myself and 2) I don’t care at the moment. Next week, I will care. Mightily.

ORDERS

1: Deal with Real. (Yay corniness!) Real life is where it's at, and nothing in the TC can supersede it, so remember that this is all fun… not an obligation.

2: Fly! It’s summer… If you’re off of school, you either have no time, or a lot of time! Please find some time, whatever you’re doing, to just fly a battle here and there, or hang around in #ehcoc and try to get a game or something. WE MUST MAKE A GOOD SHOWING IN TOP DOG!

3: Do other stuff! The banner is taken care of and the website probably is as well, but there are all kinds of things you can do… especially if you’re eligible for some sort of promotion (Blastfire, Specter, Steel in a while )… IWATS, fiction, graphics, all kinds of competitions… the FO has his INPR comp still running. And showing up on IRC or just mailing me for whatever reason can’t hurt at all. Also, the VAN’s numbers are slipping alarmingly… recruit! Surely you know a couple of people who would be interested… EVERything is worth points for Top Dog… DO IT ALLLLLLL!
