Crusader Weekly Squadron Report

From the Commander's Office
This WSR marks my first full month as a CMDR/CM. Hopefully many more sucessful months are on their way. It's been a pretty hectic month for all of us. Artur's departure, numerous CMDR's leaving, our Wing Commander leaving. Hopefully things settle down soon. Remember, you still have a few days to get last minute activity in for this month's Evaluation!
A squadron website is currently in the works. However, since I do not posess PHP, XML, Java, or whatever skills, it's going to be pretty crappy. Expect it to be 'launched' in about a month or so. Don't get too excited. If you have good website making skills, contact me, and I'll let you build one. ISM to be awarded if you do (would award more if I could).
Fairly decent activity this week. Excellent work to both Keiran and Lazy. I'd have something, but my .plt files are (still) in limbo with Archon and/or Khadgar.
Ship News
My good friend Choosh has been promoted to to Captain, and is the new CMDR of Phoenix Squadron. I think all flags knows what this means (GWSOoM!).
Our Wing Commander, Lt. Colonel Archon has announced his resignation to the Wing earlier this week. I have no idea what's going on with all these Command Openings, but whatever. You'll be missed, Archon.
Valkyrie CMDR has been picked and an announcement will be made whenever. Don't ask me.
ASF Banner comp has started. See AD Darksaber's report for details on how to snag an Iron Star.
Miack has created a new Grey Wolf mailing list. You should have been added to it already. If not, contact me and I'll add you myself (if I figure out how to).
Fleet News
-Mell Kerrigan (former SubCOM) has been promoted to Admiral, and promoted to Imperial Sovereign Protector (ISP). If you don't know what that means, you don't really need to know anyway.
-The Flight Officer also has his own banner comp going on. See the TIE Corps News page for details.
-Rear Admiral TK-2107 has been promoted to SubCOM.

Final Thoughts
It's the end of the month! That means it's time for my first Monthly Squadron Evaluation. Don't worry, you people that have worked hard will be well rewarded.
You know what's coming here ... get on IRC! People, if you spend hours surfing the web (which means you're wasting time you could be doing flying, too), why not get on IRC to redeem yourself a little? It's the one thing that keeps me (and a lot of others) active and involved. Meet people from all around the Fleet. This is where we become a group of friends, rather than just people e-mailing me and seeing the results each week. Get on! E-mail me for help!
