Hello, Hello, Hello. Well....it's been a good week for the squad and it's members this week. First of all I'd like to officially welcome our newest member, direct from the RSVs...Colonel Ace Armageddon. He's an old skewl ASFer who has been in hibernation for the last 2 years, but is back, ready, willing and able to be an active member of the ASF and help Krayt retain it's WC's Own honour ;) He's also helped the squadron by becoming our 6th pilot and helping us gain some citations - 107 of them to be exact! Aside from Ace joining, the squad saw Sav return to his unstoppable activity this week, myself place well in a few more competitions and Blade return - unfortunately only for a few days. However, Blade has mentioned he has a flash laptop now, so he should be active from now on despite jetsetting all over the US for his current job! I've also included Cadet Shalvros in the list of recipients of this report, he should be a fully fledged Krayt by weeks end! :)

General News;

 - RA Frodo March, our COM is currently away at some silly camp (:P) for 3 weeks. He shall be back around the 17th of August. Until then, Phantom is pulling double duty playing COM aswell as WC, and also administering the stats page for the Wing Comp. If you have any queries or GFX submissions forward them to her.

 - FA AbK's Quote of the Week(QotW) competition for the TC is on. If you come across a funny line(s) of text in IRC while chatting, why not copy it to an email and send it in to AbK!? You might even be rewarded for this in the near future!

 - Wing XIII now has a Wing Commander!! Congratulations(and commiserations on his future flea problems) go out to the new WC, Major Gilad Pelleaeon.

 - On the subject of Wing Commanders, who seem to be dropping like flies lately, Wing XIX aboard the SSD Avenger is now after a new WC, due to LC Thorn Zack retiring. Apps close today! Heh....

 - As far as I know...the Training Office still has a number of vacancies up for grabs. Details of how to apply for Training Office Assistant(TOA) or the Graphics IWATS Course Professor(GFX) and Eggdrop Bot Professor(EGG) jobs are on the TC news page.

 - On a wing level, we've gained a few new members this week in the form of SL's Shagen, Margarine, DitjaPralg and our newest Krayter, Colonel Ace Armageddon.

 - The ASF's Anna Darksaber, XWA/XvT Flying Comps and the ASF Trivia comp have all ended, results can be viewed on the ASF's messageboards here: http://theholo.net/mb/viewforum.php?f=45.

Krayt Squadron is now in 2nd place for Squadron totals. Sav is now in 2nd and I'm 3th. We are currently about 130pts behind Diamondback Squadron, so we've got a ways to go, but still over a fortnight to bridge the gap!

 - The two other wing comps from last week have concluded, with Krayt bringing home a 2nd place in the XWA-TC 33 ASF Comp. My submission also earned me 2nd in SSL Playoff Round 2, just pushing out Deimos himself! w00t! :D

 - We also have a new recruit - which you should have seen mentioned earlier in the WSR. Please welcome Colonel Ace Armageddon to Krayt 2-2. It's good to have you aboard Ace...as it is always nice to have another Ace in our Squadron ;)

 - On the subject of new members, my personal friend CT Shalvros, who I've been saying will be transfered to the squad soon should be transferred by the weekend. He just has to finish his Core IWATS test and then he'll be ready for Pri to assign him. I hope he notices this little message as I have included him in the recipients of this WSR ;)
