Fleet News:
  • This week was the most schocking week in my life (as it was for most of you too). Our thoughts and prayers go out to those who have been lost of affected by this tragedy.
  • The FCHG mission-design competition has finished. Go to the Tie Corps news page for the information, and fly the winning battles (they're very good!).
  • The Combat Operations manuel is up. Go to http://www.ehcoc.net/ to check it out.
  • There is a multi-player competition taking place this week. the EH is facing off against the NRN. WoW rules are being used, and all scores are being done through battlestats.
  • There seems to be a problem with people sharing passwords. These are the direct words from So Slade:

    It is time to address, a simple matter and a major problem within the TIE Corps. The TIE Corps database is a magnificent feat (many other coders may scoff, but that is due to a typical programer disease called "I'm_the_bestest" virus. Other symptoms include saying 1337 too much and not being able to code your way out of a paper sack.) but back to the point at hand, it is a great blessing for the TIE Corps and enables a smooth and easy way to award medals, battles, transfers, promotions ect ect. Thusly, people who are entrusted with command postions, are also entrusted with special rights on the database.

    Please do not break this trust, and hand out your password to people. From this point on, if anyone is caught handing out your password to someone, it's an automatic two week suspension from duty. If any damage is done, then we'll take care of that issue on a case to case basis; but as a general rule, don't give your password out. If you need something done, contact your superior and have him do it for you. That's what they are there for. Thank You.

Wing News:
  • Still awaiting the playoffs for the Wing IV SL to start...Riccy :P
  • The second ewok has been found! Congrtas to CPT Malik on locating it, and bringing it back home. Next set of clues will be out this weekend.
  • We welcome two new members to Wing IV; SL Kitten-claw (who has already been promoted to LT) and CM Ayudanter de la Clars. Both joined Yod (yay!).
Squadron News/Orders:
  • We are still facing off against Demon Squadron of the Immortal. The mission is FXWA-26 (attached). The comeptition ends September 17, so get those submissions in!
  • As I've already said, we have two new members; LT Kitten-claw and CM Ayudanter de la Clars. If you haven't yet, drop them a line :) Also, Kitten-claw has been...well...a busy kitten :P Great job KC!
  • Congrats to CPT Bret K'Thraz on his ISM, CM Yarik Kelve on his PC and LCM Avenger on his CoB!
