Beth Squadron Report #7 - 09/24/01

*Introduction:

Greetings all. This week has been busy in terms of the number of changes in the wing. As some of you may know, MAJ Osan'gar stepped down as Hey CMDR to a FM position, and then he was promoted to RA and is now the Lord Ambassador of the Emperor's Hammer. CM Josh Popelka is the new Hey CMDR, and CM Mayk Wolverine is the new Aleth CMDR. Several pilots were also promoted this week. Everyone should have already welcomed Joel Chase to Beth Squadron. He joined us on Wednesday and has already been promoted to Lieutenant! Also, the Sequoh Competition has begun and I've already received a couple pilot files for it. The competition ends October 6th, so you have almost two weeks to get this mission flown. Top score wins a IS:BW!


*Squadron News and Activity:

SL Joel Chase completed his training and was assigned to Beth Squadron position 2-3.

SL Joel Chase completed his INPR and was promoted to Lieutenant. Congrats!

LC Sequoh Marden completed the ICQ IWATS Course. Good work Seq. :)

I spoke to CM Lavos, so his technical leave has apparently ended for now. Hopefully he's back online.

The Sequoh Comp has begun! You have until October 6th to fly XWA-Free Mission #4: Defend the ISD Colossus. Submit your pilot file to me. Highest score wins the comp. So far, the standings look like this:

Competition Standings:
1: LT Joel Chase - 12,543
2: LT Mordred - 5,269

The high score for this mission is around 21,000 so everyone should try to reach as high a score as possible. It would be nice to see a pilot from Beth get the official high score for this mission. So far our new LT has a nice lead, but there is still huge amounts of time to fly this mission, and you can refly it as much as you want! So get flying pilots! You too Seq. :)

MAJ Jahan Kalar was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel. Congrats!

CM Mayk Wolverine has been promoted to Aleth Squadron CMDR.

MAJ Osan'gar resigned from Hey Squadron CMDR and was promoted to RA and Lord Ambassador of the Emperor's Hammer. Congrats Os!

CM Josh Popelka has been promoted to Hey Squadron CMDR.

LT Ace Hobbes was promoted to LCM.

LT Eriond Kath'Razzit was promoted to LCM. Congrats to the both of you!

LC Kalar created a new Wing III Collar insignia for our Uniforms.
