Well Crusaders. You all know. SCIII ends this Sunday. We are leading, but Odin may suprise us. So i want everyone of you do everything what you can. WE MUST WIN.

One more thing. Maybe this will be motivation. Maybe not. If Crusader Squadron will not win SCIII competition, i will congratulate winners, pack my gear and step down from commanding squadron. I have not decided yet if i will go to reserves or not. WE MUST WIN! LOSING IS NOT AN OPTION.
But it seems, i will stay as your commander. I am already proud of you all. But please. Only 3 days. Help me. Do it for your squad mates. Awards will come. Just fly. Don't let us die in last 3 days.

I've been named, new Tactical Head Coordinator of Tactical Office, due too StarLion's resignation. This means i can award up to SS now. But don't be silly, i'll be awarding it for Tactical related assignments only.
We've got new pilot in our squadron. Welcom, Sub Lieutenant Thorn. Try to send me pilot files ASAP. Fly as much as you can, so you'll help us in SCIII.
Talking about SCIII. We've got 4000 pts. Some of LoCs pending.

This week fiction is mine.
Somewhere in Achenar Sector, Over planet Arbakis:
-Crusader 3! Pull up!! - shouted Mike seeing how LCM Relsien almost crashed with rebel corvette. His Assault Gunboat was rather heavy fighter and clearly young pilot forgot about it.
-Ooops, that was close. - Relsien's fighter bounced away, losing wing, and shields. - My shield system is not working!! - cried pilot. - I was sitting duck, here!
-Try to override it - adviced Drako - Send power through auxialiry converter, using backup switch. It may work. - Drako, as Chief Engineer of squadron knew everything about fighters. From piece of paper, binder and matchbox, he could create TV screen.
Meantime, few kilometres away.
-This is Flight 3 leader. We are commencing heavy attack. - announced Wiesio.
-Roger that Crusader 9. Deploy rockets. - answered Mike.
Few seconds passed.
-Allright Flight 3. On my mark. 5... 4... 3... 2... 1... NOW!!! - Wiesio pressed fire button and launched 4 heavy rockets. Flagellant and Vitcarp were following him close and fired their rockets soon after.
-This is 12. Rockets away. Preparing to engage. - announced Vitcarp and changed his power configuration to dogfight mode. Meantime Flagellant had some computer problems, as always.
-Flag here. I got probelms with my lasers. They are not working! - moaned Flag. - Drako! Any solution?
-Ok. Did you charge them, Flag? - asked Drako. Flag answered after few seconds.
-Well.... No. - Mike laughed.
-SO CHARGE THEM, GOD DAMNIT AND JOIN US! - shouted Mike and turned his fighter.
Battle was not proceeding well. Odin squadron already lost 3 fighters, and after next 2 more planes shot down, they had to retreat. Enemy called for reinforcements and two old Dreadnaughts arrived bringing few more fighter squadrons into battle.
-Hier spricht Tartarus Leader. Unsere Raketen sind wech, wir kommen heim. - spoke Hev Randrowan in his language. Only Mike understood him.
-Verstanden, Tartarus Leader, bis später - answered Mike and after few seconds 7 fighters hypered out.
Sudendly...
-I'M HIT!!! - cried Drako! - I am going down!!!!
-SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!!! My engine is out!!! I'm hit, i'm hit!! - Michael joined Drako. Mike was concerned!
-CRUSADER!! STAY SHARP!! - he locked enamy frigate and fired last two of his advanced proton torpedoes. Only one penetrated armom, and made extensive damage. Ship didn't explode but stopped firing. This gave some pilots chance to escape.
-MISSILE!!!! I AM EJECTING! - shouted Marcin K and his fighter exploded. Luckily pilot ejected before missile actually hit his fighter. Crusaders were losing. Other squadrons already lost. Mike could make only one decisions.
-Crusader leader here. All fighters retreat. NOW!!! - his computer was calculating hyperspace jump coordinates. Other fighters were trying to retreat. Flight 3 was still participating in combat to let slower fighters escape.
-Incoming missile - female voice of Mike's computer informed. - Shit! Only thing i need now is missile. - thought Mike. - Coordinated ready. - informed computer - Missile 50 metres. - Mike pushed hyperspace jump button. Missile was only few metres away when his fighter jumped forward and dissappeared in hyperspace, before missile could hit him. Only 5 other crusaders and 4 odin pilots followed him. First time Grey Wolf pilots lost in combat. It was great shock for everyone.
Few hours later.
-This is Crusader Leader. Requesting permission to land. - said Mike.
-Roger that, Crusader Leader. Code accepted, clerance granted. Welcome back. - answered comm officer.
-Crusader 1, out. - Mike turned off his radio. His fighter lander in hangar bay, ammont other machines. Wing Commander, LC Azazel was already waiting there. He was happy to see his boys coming home so quickly, but what happened to the rest. He saw only 30% of fighters. Something was wrong here.
Mike jumped out of his fighers. Azazel thought others are still landing and started to talk.
-Hey Mike, welcome back. How's the mission?
-Bad. - mike ingoned his wing commander and took his helmet.
-Bad? What do you mean? Where are the others? What happened there?! - Azazel was confesed.
-We have lost. - answered Mike and left hangar.
-MIKE! COME BACK HERE!! IT'S AN ORDER!! I WANT TOLERATE THIS...
-Leave the boy alone. - Azazel heard voice from back. It was Vice Admiral Khadgar. Commodore of the ship. - Brucmack and other survivors already told me what happened there. It seems we have lost 15 pilots...
-WHAT!? How?! What happened? - Azazel was shocked.
-I don't know. But they still live. Now we have to find them.... and take them back...
