Hello and welcome to the next Tartarus Squadron report! Another fall month has started and your great commander continues to do administrative paperwork. I got back from the leave late Saturday just to fly a few matches and take a long, warm bath. I also did the MSE during the long evening hours and went on to my studies. Fortunately it has turned out I'm the #2 student in the classes group rankings so I might actually have some occassions to take some breath after the upcoming week. Hurray!
Let's get on to the report.

SQUADRON ISSUES

SQUADRON REBUILDING. VA Khadgar wants us to get him new souls to corrupt, that's why recruiting new people is considered one of primary activities this month. Also it would be good for us to get new pilots. We are at nine right now, meaning we should get 3 more for our squadron to get fully operational.
AWOL. One of our pilots have shown no further interest in TIE Corps and got his EH Officer Contract cancelled. It was LT TK-7253. Farewell. Good luck to you... wherever you are.
ASF AUDIT. You all got it. The 1st ASF Audit AD Cyric wanted you to submit as soon as possible. You were all briefed on the issue and you were asked to CC me when sending those. I only know of 2 sure and 2 possible replies. Is it that hard to write a few words? I think not. The Audit is meant to improve the ASF and therefore if you haven't replied to AD Cyric yet, do it at once! And don't forget to send me a copy!
MULTIPLAYER ACTIVITY. PARTICIPATION AND NOTIFICATION. Another of our wing priorities this month. I want everybody to fly more in multiplayer competitions! 33% of us have been flying this week and it is okay, but I'd like to ask more from you. Try. And after you fly, either winning, losing or getting a tie, report this to me. We're in a few competitions -- and if you want your scores to be counted, notify me after each match and generally, let me know your activity. The ideal thing would be a late Thursday FM report (only some of you do it). I won't require such from you still I strongly recommend it.

HOLONET NEWS UPDATE

1. SAT 11/03/2001 - WC of Wing VI, LC Jesseb, decided to step down and become a FM in Zeta Squadron.
2. TUE 11/06/2001 - VA Firefox, BGCOM of the Avenger Task Force, decided to step down and become the new Dark Brotherhood Grand Master! Yay!!! Congrats!
3. WED 11/07/2001 - Our beloved COO, RA Bruckmack promoted to VA! CONGRATULATIONS BRUCE!!!
4. THU 11/08/2001 - MAJ Enahropes Entar cancelled the recent AusComp due to a severe storm warning for his area. Next AusComps will likely go the normal way.

LITERATURE CORNER

No Deadly Waltz updates. However... I strongly encourage you to read a book. It is "L'etranger" by Albert Camus. It is a short novel, written in 1942, still very, very actual. It is a must-read. Even if you might now like the narration style, the novel is great because of its message. Get a copy.

POETRY CORNER

The Scorpions & Berliner Philharmoniker, Moment of Glory, EMI Records (EMI 7243 S 57019 2 3).

Quick review
A great rock album with one of the top world orchestra's performing in unison with the one of best, classic rock groups! Packs a powerful punch and is excellent for anything that is allowed to be agressive. There are more than few ballads though, including Send Me An Angel and Wind of Change. Also, a few good symphonic tracks. They sound so impressive that, in fact, I believe the album would be excellent as a soundtrack for the EH movie project.

1. With Jatz still MIA, LCM Arcadius Calidus was elevated to FL spot. He is currently working on improving his flight, which might not be that easy. Anyways, congratulations Vulcan!

Multiplayer activity still counts as a triple submission. Also, the Cyric's MP comp is still on. FLY!!! FLY LIKE HELL!!! Anyone who gets at least 2 LoCs a week will be considered actively participating in the competitions and rewarded.

1. We're doing okay. Activity increases our internal nifty little projects are progressing smoothly. To improve a lil' bit more be sure to obey orders. Also, try to fly more.
2. I've noticed that I somehow got OV. This means my first year within the TIE Corps has ended. Wow. Time passes quickly. But I remember how happy I was when I graduated the Academy and joined the Crusader Squadron in March. Thanks to many great people like Woobee, Bruckmack, Mike, Drako, Azazel, Ayudanter I have found my place on this ship. I salute them and promise that I will continue to fight for the glory of the Emperor's Hammer.
