It was another sad week for us and the VANGUARD as a whole, RA Zippy Hawk stood down as our COM, this means that until the end of this week, we are without a commodore. AD Cyric has said that he has narrowed the choices down to two. I know that both COL Hizad and MAJ Leeson have applied, I wish them both luck. Okay for us, we're losing again to Mantis. This is not good. I want to see everyone flying their hearts out, single player simulators and multi-player melees. Also CPT Blair and I have released the latest Simulator mission, Phalanx 1, it's extremely well made and detailed, plus it has voices of me and Blair, plus Victor and Alec, i highly recommend it, I order everyone to fly it. Other then that, it was a good week for us. Tonight so far I have flown five battles, and am working uptill 10 I hope for us to come close in the Vortex competition which ends Friday at midnight EST. So maybe throw a free mission or two in to get us some points. Though today was to be the last day in the VANGUARD paper article competition, because I handed the paper over to a RL editor, CM Lassiter, I hope he will extend the deadline for articles. XWA Private Hosted Wargame

I'm willing to host an XWA wargame, similar to Imperial Storm II, for 3 individuals. It will consist of a free for all wargame which will last about 30 wargame days. (A little over one month, depending on how fast a wargame is done.)
Requirements are that you have XWA, a stable internet connection to play the game online for battles between fleets, willing to send reports/orders for your fleet everyother day and willing to have fun! There are no medals involved, just fun.

ASF Audits were completed and were sent to MAJ Leeson to be given up the chain of command. I have tried to start some competitions but the competition form is out of action. Once it is repaired, prepare for some heavy competitions for this squadron. Also MAJ Prophet and SL Mikhail are officially scorpion, LT KDOG has put in a request and will hopefully join us soon. I am the top Scorpion member in TOP DOG, I hope I see some others join me soon. For LT KDOG and SL Mikhail, IWATS are worth a lot in the compeition if you could do one a day, that would really boost our acitivity points. Also as soon as it is possible, I will have the online Battle board (located on our ships homepage, http://vanguard.phpcoding.org then click on the PBT link on the left and select Scorpion) updated to reflect our new roster. Once this is done I hope you all will bookmark the page so that you can see what battles need doing for citations immediately. Other then that, nothing. I hope MAJ Leeson or COL Hizad get VAN COM.

I would like every pilot to either compete in one MP event or one single player battle per week to get citations for the squad, this is to get to our goal of 50 by December 1st(this is 20 away not that hard, also when we get there i was promised PC's by our WC, Maj Leeson). So my Knights of the Phalanx Order go out and kick some Furry butt for the VAN.
