Odin Report # 18 (2001-11-09)

This report was submitted by MAJ Raxis Krieger

Odin Weekly Squadron Report #18
Release Date: 11/9/01

Well its not the Run-on as promised, but heres some fiction from Brian!

LCM Brian and the Quest for the Lost LoCs
"Wake up!" MAJ Raxis yelled as he flipped LCM Brian's mattress over, spilling him on the floor.

"Good morning to you to." Brian said as he stumbled up. He checked the clock, 500 hours....

"What’s the big idea Raxis?" Brian retorted as he shuffled over to his closet and got flight suit on.

"Got a special assignment for you Brian. I want you on this because you are the most qualified for the job." Raxis replied.

Brian wondered what terrible thing Raxis had in store for him. Last time he did a special "assignment" for Loki he found himself head first in a gutter on Aurora Prime.

He hoped it wasn't going to be a repeat of last time.

"Ok, get your things ready and follow me." Raxis said as he stepped out of the door way to wait outside.

LCM Brian got his stuff ready and followed Raxis...but where were they going?

They walked through what seemed endless hallways. Quiet hallways. But that was because everyone else was sleeping!!!

Past the briefing room, past the mess hall, until they finally arrived... VA Khadgar's room!

"Oh no! You can't make me go in there! No way am I going in there!" Brian pleaded.

"I can, you will, and you are going to get Khad's secret stash of LoC's. All of us know that he couldn't possibly be as bad at MP as he shows on the outside. He must hide them all somewhere. Good luck." Raxis smirked as he threw Brian into the room and closed the door.

"Raxis is really gonna pay for this." Brian muttered as he looked around the dimly lit room. There was practically no light, and from what he could see Khadgar needed a maid. There were clothes all over the place, and among those were cartons of fast food from the Mess Hall.

Clotheslines were strung across the room from several places, and there was a pile of mail sacs in the corner. Wow, Khadgar has a lot of mail.

There was a small desk, cluttered with multiple things on top of it. One paper caught Brian's eye. On the top of it read:

Pilot Evaluation: LCM Brian

1. Brian is a funny guy.

2. He does lots of stuff.

3. On IRC lots.

4. Is willing to do amazingly stupid things for his CMDR. :-)

Recommendation: Palpatine Crescent

Brian erased the PC and put in a Bronze Star, for what he was doing he deserved it. Also, next to Brian's MSE was Raxis's. A great opportunity for revenge.

Brian changed Raxis's medal to an ISM and felt better.

But by far the most disturbing thing in the room was the eerie noise coming from the back... what was it?

It sounded inhuman, ungodly, and very unpleasant. Brian neared the origin of the noise cautiously, not knowing what it was....

Brian almost fainted when he discovered the source of the noise.... Khadgar!!!

Feeling slightly nauseous, Brian stared looking for the LoCs. After searching through Khadgar’s closet, his drawers, and under his bead, all he found was a couple of CMDR badges, some old physics worksheets, and a cardboard cut out of a Storm Trooper. Brian wondered why Khadgar needed that stuff for and then it hit him….. it’s Khadgar! There isn’t a secret stash of LoCs. Feeling even more nauseous, Brian headed for the door.

He opened the door, and there standing was Raxis, Azazel, and Black Hero, videotaping his every move. Maybe fainting would be a good idea right now.

“Oh man is that going in the archives! You risked your career on a stupid dare! Muwhahahahah!” Azazel said as he shut off the vidcam.

“Wait to you see yourself stumbling through Khadgar’s quarters in search of Khadgar’s Secret Stash of LoCs!” Raxis added.

“And by the way, how could Khadgar have an LoCs when I’m around?!?!” Black Hero added. LCM Brian made a mental note to kill them all later and trudged down the hall, back to bed…

Final Thought this week...

Well this week I'm gonna take a bit of my time to talk about something non-EH related...and thats....THE DIAMONDBACKS BEAT THE YANKEES! Wooo yeah! Go D'backs! The end of the Yankee Dynasty! ok. I'm Done :-)

Now, ASF:MP comp. Everyone give it there best shot to attend this competitions. I know it can be hard if you lead busy lives, but give it your hardest to see if you can attend. Remember, this competition might be more pilot orientated rather than squadron, but make me proud pilots!
