Some big command changes in the TC occured this week; VA Jeff Loruss was promoted to Avenger Task Force Battlegroup Commander, LC Aylius Khan was appointed as VI Wing Commander, RA Zippy Hawk resigned as Vanguard Commodore, and the new Commodore of the Subjugator is RA Smitrock!
CPT Hev Randrowan has stepped down as Valkyrie Squadron Commander due to Real Life issues. However he has asked to become part of the new Crusader and is now the Flight Leader of Flight III.
To go along with the new Squadron Commander and new members, Crusader Squadron also has a new nickname: "Knights Templars" and new motto: "Honor and Pride".
Please welcome MAJ RedTaz to Crusader squadron. He has also stepped as Squadron Commander (Nun) and elected to join Crusader.
And yet another new member, Welcome SL Tyler to Crusader Squadron.

Miscellaneus

Its takes time to get used to somethign new, so activity seems a little slow. Hopefully it will pick up soon.For now I'd like to concentrate on recruiting (new and old) pilots to Crusader and making sure the ones we have are active. Once we got a full boat we'll worry about citations and such.

For those who may not know "Knights Templars" was a military and religious order established among the Crusaders in about 1118 A.D. Anyway Crusaders are sterotipically refered to as the Knights that participated in the military expeditions to the "Holy Land" from the 11th and 13th centuries. Knight and Crusaders are usually considerd honorable people, so if you look at our squadron name, nickname and motto ..... we've created a nice little theme for ourselves.

One extra tid bit I'd like to add is something I would like the squadron to show unity. If you look at my personal profile I've named my starfighter: "Sword of the Dark Moon". I'd like to see everyone stick to our theme and name their starfighters "Sword of ____ " as they see fit.
