Before I start my report, I'd like to say a few words in light of the recent tragedy in New York and Washington.

First, I would like to express my deepest condolensces to anyone suffering from this dispicable act. I see nothing but sheer cowardice in the acts of terrorism in the attack on the United States. I do not, nor will I ever, understand how any person is capable of an act that would harm another human being. There is no doubt in my mind, that this will be one of the most major events of our generation. The kind where everyone gets to remember where they were and what they were doing when it happened. (personally, i was sleeping). The goal of these terrorists, was and is, to strike fear into the hearts of Americans. I believe George Bush made some good points yesterday when he stated that this was not going to harm the foundation of America. In saying that, I think he meant, we will not be scared. The idea being, we now have to continue living, if for no other reason, then to honor those that did not survive.

Not much new to report, I'm updating the squad site a little and adding a History section to honor past members contributions to the squad. Wishing I'd done it earlier, but I wasn't expecting such a shift in membership so quickly.

Starting now (September), I am running a monthly competition. Simply put, it's a "Pilot of the month" competition. The Pilot that contributes the most points towards our Squadron of the Month totals ... becomes my pilot of the month. This pilot will recieve a shiny ISM for all his efforts :P
