“Attention, Officers on DECK! Gentlemen, let me introduce you to your new COM, Rear-Admiral Bevel Leeson. Also our new WC, Colonel Garik Hizad. Welcome sirs. Okay, news. First, we are ahead of Mantis. And it’s all because of your activity. I am extremely proud, honestly, at our apparent comeback. Even if Mantis beats us out in the end, let it be known both squadrons flew balls to the walls and that we appreciate the work you put into it. This is our last week of Top Dog Competition, so I want to see everyone flying that extra bit hard. We need to cement our lead. Also Phalanx Mission 1, is due next Sunday, that gives you over a week to fly it. That’s all, thank you for being a member of the best veteran squadron in my opinion this side of the ASF.”

TIE Corps Battlegroups Commander selected

I've finally made my decision on the new BGCOM...many congratulations to Vice Admiral Mell! Mell is a veteran of the Battlegroups and has all the command experience and skills I would require of any BGCOM. I'm sure that he'll not only carry on the good work of the previous BGCOMs, but also work to bring his own successes. Congrats Mell!

A new Commodore for the ISD Vanguard has finally been selected. Congratulations to Rear Admiral Bevel Leeson! Accordingly, a new Wing Commander for Wing XV has also been chosen. Congratulations to Colonel Garik Hizad! Both of these Officers are long-standing members of the Vanguard, and I'm sure they'll serve my old ship well :)

I'm also pleased to congratulate the Wing XIII WC, Lieutenant Colonel Azazel, on his promotion to Colonel today.
TIE Corps Battlegroups Commander Resigns

Over the weekend, Admiral Adrenaline announced her decision to resign as TC Battlegroups Commander due to increasing RL work. Adren was undoubtedly one of the hardest working members of the EH and held in high respect by all. I'm sorry to see her go, and we're definitely losing one of our finest Officers.

I will not be taking applications for a new BGCOM, so please don't send one. Adren's replacement will be selected in the next couple of days.

Scorpion News
Hey all… welcome our newest member COL Hawk. Welcome Hawkie. Also Maj Prophet should come online this week and start being a full member. Also there will be another member soon, hopefully once the ASF MP competition is over.

We’ve been flying our hearts out and for that I am super proud of you all. Thanks for putting that faith and effort into this squadron, if we win it was because of team work, if we lose… we lose as a team.

IWATS are worth a lot in the compeition if you could do one a day, that would really boost our acitivity points. Also as soon as it is possible, I will have the online Battle board (located on our ships homepage, http://vanguard.phpcoding.org then click on the PBT link on the left and select Scorpion) updated to reflect our new roster. Once this is done I hope you all will bookmark the page so that you can see what battles need doing for citations immediately.

Squadron Orders:
Battles to fly: go to http://vanguard.phpcoding.org/ click the pbt link on the left and submit for Scorpion --- this is the online version of our battle board, look at the number needed column to see what battles need to be flown.

I would like every pilot to either compete in one MP event or one single player battle per week to get citations for the squad, this is to get to our goal of 50 by December 1st(this is 20 away not that hard, also when we get there i was promised PC's by our WC, Maj Leeson). So my Knights of the Phalanx Order go out and kick some Furry butt for the VAN.

Promotion requirements to LT: Fill out INPR, fly a battle, fly in a MP comp, do an IWATS course.
