Petition for a sequel to TIE Fighter

There is an online petition to LucasArts for creation of a sequel to TIE Fighter. You all being loyal Imperial pilots, I am sure that is one of the long term goals of your life :)

XO's comment - I don't really think I need to tell everyone how important a new TIE game would be for the TIE Corps and the EH as a whole. Currently, we have a situation where our primary platform, TIE Fighter, is becoming very hard to acquire and even harder to run on modern systems. XvT had multiplayer, but not very good singleplayer and, from what I've been told, network code that isn't exactly that hot. XWA has the eyecandy, it runs on modern systems and OSes, but it has issues of modification and the Rebel setting. With some recent PC releases such as JK2 and SWGB, Lucasarts is finally loosening the bonds and allowing fans to create content. This could factor into a new TIE game, so go put your name on the petition.

3. Squadron news:

Two squadron competitions started. Read Commander's note for details.
We defeated Tornado in third round of CSL2 . We are now first squad in group D!

4. Note from commander:
We had some activity from LC Zystem Fryar (a lot of activity, actually), LCM Executor and MAJ Brad Tack. In 3rd round of CSL2 we defeated Tornado squadron, what placed us on the first position in D group. We have a break this week, so there is no free-mission to fly till 14th.
To raise activity a bit I decided to announce two squadron competitions.

1. Logo and Banner competition. I'd like you to design logo (small, rectangle in shape, picture for the top of the report) and square banner (like this MIS on the squadron roster page...) for the Pi Squadron. The winner in each cattegory will be awarded IS-BR. (if it's approved as official competition...)
2. Caption competition. In each of my reports I'll place one Star Wars related picture. You are to invent a caption for it (the funnier, the better). Each win gives you one point. For every 3 points collected IS-BR will be awarded.
