Squad News
========================

Everyone please welcome Typhoon’s newest pilot, CPT
Saadam! He will be my wingman, taking position 1-2.
He has already demonstrated his incredible flying
skill in this weeks match vs. Nemesis, getting the
match’s High Score! We’re glad to have him aboard!

Light activity this week due to mass leaves. We
still have a couple pilots on leave, but this should
be mostly back to normal next week.

Week Five CSL2 Comp:
Well, we did it! We beat Nemesis 2-0! Thing is, we
could have beat them 4-0 but participation was a
minimum due to everyone being on leave. I think we
get another shot at them down the road.

Week Six CSL2 Comp:
Another week off for us, we’ll be flying against Teth
next week!

Wing News

From the desk of the WC, a new comp! The skinny…

“This is for the Challenge Allstars Squadron (formerly
known as the Honour Guard). Essentially, I want a
nice XWA squadron to be able to take on squadrons in
other X-Wing Alliance Ships.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, and
want to be part of the Allstars, is to fly Free XWA
61, and send it to your Commander for processing by
4th August 2002. Highest score wins an IS-SW, and
second highest score wins an IS-BW. The top six
scores will gain entry into the Allstars Squadron.
The current high score on the mission is held by MAJ
Mark Schueler of the ISD Colossus, at 30,619. Extra
Wing Commander cookies will be handed out to whoever
beats that score!”

Trivia Comp Week 3! Questions have been sent out;
email me with your answers! More to come in the
following weeks!

CoFo has mentioned that a non-flying comp is in the
works. The theme is “History of the Battlegroups” and
it’s due to begin Aug 1. Get an early start and
sharpen those fiction/graphic/mission design skills!

BG Multiplayer Training Nights
Come along to #ehcoc at 10pm GMT on Tuesdays and fly!
LoCs available! CPT Trow earned an LoC off me this
week! :p Great flying, Captain!
