Daleth Squadron Weekly Report 10 – 07/16/2002


Introduction:
Greetings all. I apologize for not getting this report out on time. I nearly forgot about it! Must be all the partying and celebrating going on. ;) If I do this again, shoot me. This is the 10th Squadron Report I've released since taking command of Daleth. What does that mean? Not a darn thing! On to the report! :)


Squadron News:
-Razor was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Commander for his fine work in Hey and Daleth Squadrons. Well done Razor!

-Your hungover CMDR was promoted to Major for consistently kissing butt, buying drinks for the WC and COM, and a few other things. ;)

-Our glorious leader, COL Jahan Kalar, was promoted to the rank of General! Congrats boss! :)

-We won round 5 of WotS! Well done everyone!

-LT Zev Lolet was awarded a LoA for a submission to the EH Newsletter.

-LCM Ace Hobbes has been in the EH for over 1 year and has been awarded the Order of the Vanguard!

-LCM Razor changed his email address to rathekrel@skrzynka.pl. Please update your address books accordingly.

-LCM Kash Kadan is on leave for 3 weeks. Hurry back Kash!

-A new competition is in the works! Hopefully all details will be settled and ready to go shortly. It will be a fiction comp, but I won't say more than that for now. If you want more info, go bug Zev. It was his idea. ;)


Squadron Status & Orders:
-Fly for each round of the WotS! We're currently tied for 1st (pending results of round 6) and we have a definate chance of winning.

-Fly your recommended battles for Squadron Citations. LCM Ace Hobbes will keep you informed of which battles you should concentrate on. Remember that rewards will be given for flying citation battles (more on a possible awards system later).

-Recruit! We have 5 open spots in this squad! Let's fill em!

Closing Remarks:
Another good week for the squad. We didn't do so well for Round 6 of WotS, but that mission was HARD! Ace was the only one to successfully complete it, so good job Ace! For your excellent flying, you can buy us all drinks. :) But seriously, I am proud of the attempts you all made. We can't win em all, and as I always say participation is more important in my eyes than scoring. I'd also like to say well done to all of you on 38 Squadron Citations! We have the highest in the wing, with the next squad being at 19. Keep up the excellent flying and good things will happen.
