CMDR Drake Jensen reporting in for Mantis Squadron on 07.18.02

Commander's Corner:

-Well here we go again. I am happy to say that this has been the best week we have had since I have taken command. We have had some form of activity from all but one pilot. Let's keep it up and AY!DO MANI!!!


Squadron News:

-We have had two promations this week. SL Krayt is now LT Krayt. Congrats! Your bar tab is on me this week. And the unbeleivable has happened. LCM Serge Broskopf is now CM Serge Broskopf. I don't know if this has anything to do with the strange goings on around here but it makes me curious.;) Congrats man, it was a long time coming. To celebrate this I am going to pick up Brosky's bar tab for the entire month. There goes my savings.
-We will be starting an RPG next week. Everyone needs to get their profile in or myself, Brosky, and Dufar will make one up for you. Please email your profile to the entire squadron. Also you need to make your comments on the profiles and send those to the squadron as well. If you do not have the profiles that have been sent out so far email either myself , Dufar, or Brosky.
-LCM Serge Broskopf is my XO. Please cc him on all squadron related things except pilot files.
-LT Dufar Jabar is our TAC officer. He will be emailing you with battle request. This is to help us gain citations. And yes, even the commander will be recieving battle assignments as well.This is a request not an order, but it is for the good of the squadron.
-The leader in the most LoC's comp is LT Dufar Jabar! Excellent work man. LT Snnijglau is in a close second and your commander is in last. We are the only ones curently with any LoC's this month.
-I would like to implement some squadron officers to help make us more active. If you are intrested in being the communications officer for Mantis email me and we will talk about it.
-We are back up to 8 citations. Thanks to those who are responsible for this increase.
-Pilot of the week is LT A. G. Snijglau. Congrats man!!! Your bar tab is on me this week.


Wing/Ship News:

- The WC has started a competition for squadron histories so any of you that are good with fiction(Brosky and Dufar) may want to give it a shot.
-As stated in my last report, Top Dog has begun. LC Ekim should have the results from the first round this weekend.
-LC Ekim had resigned as WC effective July 31. This is due to RL issues from what I can gather. I hate to see him step down, I believe that he has done a good job with a difficult position. All intrested pilots need to send their application to VA Leeson and AD Cyric.

Well, we are up to eight citation, thanks to the efforts of Lieutenants Krayt, Snijglau, and Zerphirio. Great work guys! Anyway, we're going to be losing a pilot in a coupla days, so I'll send out a list then of what you should be flying.
BTW, If you're reading this report right now and still haven't sent in your profile....Guess what? You're not in the RPG! All I need are Profiles from COL Garik and LT Bipspic. As soon as the squadron report is
released, I will send out the profiles we have (with all the comments) along with the first part of the story.
