Imperial Storm III:

The Sov wins the most battles, has the most points, and the most reliable tactical staff (most notably COL Stele Pellaeon), and yet we’re given a shared "marginal victory" over the ASF. Thanks to everyone who participated, and well done!

Appointments/Positions Open:

LC Halcyon is now the official Wing IV WC.
MAJ Falcon is the new Wing XX WC.

Other News:

XvT Tie Interceptor Infernal (another Battlestats competition) is taking place this week in the Zone. Guthwulf and I have been taking part, and having a great time. It’s also a great place to get to know members of the TIE Corps in other wings.

A dropoff of flying activity this week. I hope I don’t have to get the bumper sticker back out, or have the new WC try out his new whip he’s just itching to use…

Citation Watch: With Halc leaving, we lose all our citations as we fall below 6 pilots. However, if you would like assignments for battles so that when our next pilot (SL Godot? :P) shows up, we can welcome him or her with a ton of citations, I can let you know which battles we’re close to a citation on.

Kaph has challenged us to a rematch. This time, it’ll be a battle instead of a free mission. More details as Guth and I hammer them out.

Colossus Squadron League 2:

Week 4 results:

None, as we were off. This week’s mission is TIE-FREE 22. It’s pretty easy; you just have to be fast to inspect the required MUTRs and CORTs. Hopefully we’ll get submissions from everyone this week. Remember, they’re due to me by midnight Friday so I can turn them in by midnight Saturday.

Krayt Squadron Competition:

The MP event is over, with Halc and me taking on Frodo and Dvader from Krayt. Despite a slow start and Halc and me crashing into each other multiple times, we came out victorious:

Yod: 73700
Krayt: 39010

That gives us 100 pts, and Krayt 53. It also means we’re all but assured the victory in the overall comp. However, one of the reasons I organized this comp was to show that Sov pilots are not as inactive as everyone seems to think, so I’d still like to get pilot files from Matt and Morth. LT Streng is excused, as he doesn’t have XvT, and Foxy and I have already finished the battle.
