Commander's Thoughts
Welcome to another smashing edition of Hornet news and events. Most of our guys are back now save for two of them so as expected our activity level is climbing rapidly. I want us to keep it up and bring home that WC's Own title for July. Lets stay with it guys remember it takes all of us to keep Hornet at the top.

Squadron News:
-We have 3 competitions currently running and i must say not much participation in them as of yet…They will run until the end of July..They are for good medals to decorate up your uniform so if you want …get out there and earn it!!!
-We now have 13 citations which is better, you will be receiving battle requests, so please take them seriously because it will help us gain more cits very quickly.
-All our new offices are now in effect, so ill list the guys new section and the respective officer for that office. I have requested them to add something to the WSR everyweek to let us know what they are up to and just to have more opinions in here than mine so I hope it all works like I plan.

Wing/Ship News:
-LC Ekim Yellek our Wing Commander was resigned his position effective July 31..This is a terrible loss for the Vanguard as he has been a strong supporter of Hornet Squadron and of me personally. Hopefully he will return to us soon but until then adios old friend and good luck ...we wish you all the best!!
-TopDog competion return to the Vanguard which began July 1, so get busy…We are currently awaiting the results of round one so keep your fingers crossed.
-We have a few comps Van wide running so check out the vanguard Message board for more details.
