CMDR Drake Jensen reporting in for Mantis Squadron on 07.05.02

Commander's Corner:

-Well another week is in and I am happy to say that I have heard from everyone but LT Klar. As stated in my last report, Top Dog has begun. So far we only have three pilots who are particapating. We need to fly XWA-TC 30 for the first week of Top Dog. You only have a few days left to get your pilot files in. Let's see if we can surprise the Van and take the whole thing!AY!DO MANI!!!


Squadron News:

-I have put in the request for the roster changes. I am waiting for them to be put in to effect.
-LCM Serge Broskopf is my XO. Please cc him on all squadron related things except pilot files.
-LT Dufar Jabar is our TAC officer. He will be emailing you with battle request. This is to help us gain citations. And yes, even the commander will be recieving battle assignments as well.This is a request not an order, but it is for the good of the squadron.
-The winner of the fiction comp is LT Dufar Jabar! Excellent work man. We will be using his story to begin a RPG in the coming weeks. Details will be out soon
-I would like to implement some squadron officers to help make us more active. If you are intrested in being the communications, or COO officer for Mantis email me and we will talk about it.
-We are up to 15 citations. I would like to thank those who are responsible for the rise in numbers.
-Last and certainly not least. We have a new pilot, LT A. G. Snijglau. He has been very active and will be a great asset to our squadron. Welcome mate.



Wing/Ship News:

- The WC has started a competition for squadron histories so any of you that are good with fiction(Brosky and Dufar) may want to give it a shot.
-The saturday night trivia and the sunday night aces high comps have been suspended due to non-particpation. If you would like to see these comps make a come back let CM Drax Remlinger(tombtrooper@aol.com), CM Erryc Lassiter(spencer79@nethere.com) know that you will be there. They are for medals and are a good way to get to know others on the Van.

TAC Report:
Ok, right now we are working on citations for XWA TC battles, so if there are any of those you haven't flown yet, fly 'em! This list shows the battles that you should fly first:
CM Jensen: Only XWA TC #29 hasn't been flown yet. Great job, Commander!
Me: I have to fly #'s 4,9,11,14-20,22,23,25-30
COL Garik: only 20, 29, and 30 left to fly! Great!
LT Klar: No battles flown to date. Be sure to focus on #'s 4,9,11,14-20,22,23, and 25-30, as those are the ones we need citations for.
LT Zephirio: You have the first two battles done, which is a good start. Fly the rest when you can, but again focus on #'s 4,9,11,14-20,22,23, and 25-30.
LCM Serge: fly #'s 18,20,22,23,and 25-30 and you'll be done with XWA TC battles!
SL Bipspic: You have no battles done so far. Fly one and you'll get to LT! Just focus on the battles I mentioned above.
LT A.G. Snijglau: Welcome to Mantis, and nice job on your promo to LT! I see you have #s 7 and 30 flown already, so just fly the others we need and we'll be well off. Again, welcome to Mantis!
