Commander's Thoughts
Welcome to another smashing edition of Hornet news and events. Well school is once again in session in most places again so activity has slipped some in most squads and we are no different. Hopefully by next week everyone will be settled and we can get back to kicking butt and taking names cus that just the way Hornet rolls...

Squadron News:
-We now have 29 citations which is better, you will be receiving battle requests, so please take them seriously because it will help us gain more cits very quickly.
-All our new offices are now in effect, so ill list the guys new section and the respective officer for that office. I have requested them to add something to the WSR everyweek to let us know what they are up to and just to have more opinions in here than mine so I hope it all works like I plan.

Wing/Ship News:
-TopDog competion round two is going on and we are eagerly awaiting the winner of round 2 who will meet the infamous Mantis Squadron in the finals..good luck to all who are participating!!!
-We have a few comps Van wide running so check out the vanguard Message board for more details.

PILOT OF THE WEEK:
LT CYBERSHADOW!! I can never say enough about cyber. Week in and week out you have provided constant and consistant activity. All should follow your lead.


OFFICERS SECTION: I received no reports this week...very disappointing. If you guys dont want to continue with your posts let me know so i can just handle this stuff myself and i can atleast be prepared. The whole point of the officers is to get you more invovled in squadrons activites and get you ready for command should you wish to pursue it later.

Quite a few cadets have joined up over the past few weeks which is good considering the past month hasnt been a good month for the TC as a whole. Currently we have about 3 cadets Im personally helping get their requirements done so hopefully theyll see the light and join Hornet. If any of you get some free time, venture by the Daedalus and drop a few cadets a line and lets fill our open spots in the roster.
