indicating attack started to pulse. "This is Crusader! Republic
fighters
entered the area! I'm moving to intercept!". Wookie looked on
his right.
LCM Shai's Gunboat was still there. "OK, Shai. Let's teach them
some manners"
"Roger that, sir" Shai answered through his intercom. Thorn
looked
at the radar. Something was wrong. Scanner was showing only 6 A-
Wings
in the space. "It doesnt have any sense" he thought to
himself "Only
six As attacking Grey Wolf?". He turned his radio back to Grey
Wolf's
frequency. "Grey Wolf, this is Crusader. Send us reinforcements."
The answer came after few seconds while Gungan's Curse was
evading three
Republic fighters. Despite having the same amount of enemies on
his tail,
Shai closed by Thorn's attackers and shot down one A-Wing with
his lasers.
"CM Thorn, I'm sure you can handle few fighters, can't you?" the
voice from
Grey Wolf said. "Damn!" Thorn cursed "That idiot Bodicus is on
the bridge!"
He turned his Gunboat and faced his pursuers. The space beetween
fighters
was covered by laser shots. Some of them managed to hit Thorn's
fighter,
but two A-Wings exploded. "New contacts on three o'clock!" cried
Shai.
Thorn looked in that direction and saw ten B-Wings exiting the
hyperspace.
"Cursed patrol missions! No missiles on board" he
thought. "Sir!" Shai's
voice came through intercom "They're targeting Grey Wolf and
scanners show
that they're armed with rockets!". The B-Wings were 1,5 clicks
from
Gunboats. "Shai, take care of those As, and i'll deal with
Bees". He
turned and headed towards Republic bombers "But... but how?"
Shai said
"We dont have any missiles!". Thorn was now 0,8 click away from
attackers.
"Just take out As..." he said calmly. The B-Wings were in close
formation.
Too close... Gungan's Curse flew in the middle of formation.
Surprised
by that unexpected suicidal manuver Republic pilots pulled up to
avoid
collision. But instead of not crashing with Thorn's Gunboat they
broke
their formation in chaos and collided with eachother. Six of the
B-Wings
exploded. But one of uncontrolled bombers hit the Gunboat.
Thorn's fighter
lost it's shields in one moment and Wookie felt a great pain in
his right
arm when his cockpit got nearly squashed. The last thing he
heard before
loosing his conciousness was the voice in the intercom
saying "Hold on,
guys! Phoenix and the rest of Crusaders are entering to help!".
But Thorn didnt manage to see the end of this battle. His eyes
were closed
and his uncontrolled fighter flew through the space...

"It could be worse. Much worse..." Thorn painfully opened his
eyes
and saw a white ceilling. "Only broken arm and some scratches."
Now he could recognize the voice. It was LC Janson - Commander of
Wing XIII and Grey Wolf's Doctor. He managed to turn his face to
the
source of the voice. He saw Janson, Repulsor and Mage. Doctor
saw him and
smiled "Oh! You've awoken. Join the Navy, we said, huh?" he took
his
seat next to Thorn's bed. "It's no flying for you untill next
Thursday."
Thorn smiled "Oh. At last a vacation." he thought."You can
perform your
normal duties except for flying" Wookie's smile faded away "Now
get your
ass out of here! You should be doing WSR by now! Commodore is
waiting!"
Thorn sighted "Gosh.... I guess that even if i were hit by a
blast from
Death Star I wouldnt get a vacation...". Using his Force skills
Janson
read Wookie's thoughts and smiled even more "No, you wouldnt".

SQUADRON NEWS:
-nothing new... still vacation time...
-as it has been told in the story above, i'm injured. i can't
use my right arm as because
of that i won't be able to fly anything next week. Belive me -
doing everything by left
hand can really make you mad...
-i had some talks with few TC members. and they think that
posting fictions on MB is a bad
idea. so from now on every fiction should be send to our MG.
i'll pick the Squadron Librarian
to store them. maybe Hast will put them on our homepage too.
also remember that fiction is
awarded by LoA. Librarian would send our fics to Newsletter...

-i'm ashamed to admit that noone completed TIE TC #62... my
accident caused by disturbance
in the Force restrained me from flying this battle. so i decided
to cancel this comp. it's
our bad luck that noone got IS-BW. but i assure you that we'll
run this comp again.
let's just wait untill all of our TIE pilots get back and my arm
gets operational again.
-our holiday fiction comp is still running. but you have time
untill the end of summer...
-i have also a brand new comp idea, but i'll wait untill you all

i'm the king of this castle!!! :))))
-as usual - recruit,fly,do IWATS. BUT i want you to take this
order serious!!!
i accept excuses (maybe because i'm the one to make them most
often :P) such as
vacations etc. but this time i'm a little bit pissed. i warn
you! week of unexplained
inactivity will mean a denial of promos and shinnies!!! i
remember from my CT times
(bah! it wasnt so long ago!) that TC is "military dictatorship".
since i'm a pacifist
i try not to make this squadron look like fanatic military-
wannabe bunch of brutes.
but still - we have some duties!!! yeah - even me :). i get
kicked in my butt for our
inactivity and i kick you. yeah! that's called "chain of
command"! Cyric kicks Azazel,
Azazel kicks Janson, Janson kicks me and i kick you. a real
perpetuum mobile. but with
one exception. perpetuum mobile should be working. some of you
look up at Diamondback
as ideal and half-gods. i know them well and i tell you - you
can be even better!!!
really! dont think that they complete 1000000 battles per week.
they dont. they fly
much less then we do. but they have periods of maniac-flying
when they as much as they
can. i can tell you that you can fly at least 5 battles per one
day, when you dont have
anything else to do. i wont belive that you dont have that kind
of days. when you do -
fly as much as you can!!! it will pay off! i assure you. look at
Hast - he joined and
completed 6 battles/6 courses/made us new homepage in the first
week of his service!!!
and what? he got ISM from me and PC from Janson. Staely the
same. it's worth to spend
saturday night at flying.
-maybe someone would be interested in taking Internet Officer
duties untill Hast return?
he gave me access to his site, but i'm to weak to run it. heh! i
have to do IICs asap...
-i'd like to remind you - if you're going on leave you have to
notify me!!! try to do this
couple days before. there have been situations when i was
notified after a week of inactivity!
i'll AWOL all who dont follow that order. if the only thing you
can do in the week is going
on leave - do this right!!! that means also reporting your
comeback.

i spend weekend at countryside to get my arm healed. i'll be
