COO and SO are back from leave; most TAC brass still on leave.

Ship News:

The Sovereign Bombing Run Blowout will start this week, with flying, graphics, and writing sections. See http://sov.minos.net/ (the new Sov site) for details. You should already have the first TIE mission, which is due to Halc (and me) by Aug 14.

Wing News:

LC Halcyon is back from leave. All CMDRs will be on leave, except me, and I’m on rotation on the Relentless. Hmm….

Lamed, Teth, and Yod all had matches in CSL2, but the results won’t be available for a few days, since COL Gallia is also on leave.

Week 8:

The final match of the regular season, against Mu Squadron, flying TIE-FREE 172. 4 scores, regardless of size, are what we need. Our playoff seed (if we end up making them) will depend a lot on total goals scored, and we should have a good opportunity to score 4 this week. Since Morth is on leave, that means we need everyone else to either submit a pilot file or recruit someone who will fly it. Trust me, it’ll be easier to fly it yourself :P. As always, pilot files are due to me by Friday midnight if possible, or Saturday midnight directly to COL Gallia if you absolutely can’t make the Friday deadline.


Orders:

Fly TIE-FREE 172 for CSL2 this week.
Fly TIE-TC 195 sometime this month for the Kaph comp.
Fly for the Sov Bombing Run blowout, if you can. There will be Wing and Squadron awards, and I’d really like to continue our good showing in large comps.

Recruit!

It looks like, with a little effort, most of us could make it to the next FCHG rank during the next month. (Streng could probably make two). Consider yourselves challenged to an unofficial race. Those who can beat the CMDR to the next FCHG rank will be looked on favorably in the next MSE…
