Lot of things happened and I will give you a short overview :)
Talon reached 12 pilots and we welcome CM Gelton Torr in our lines. Our roster is full and I want to say thanks to all of you for beeing such an excellent team !
CPT Alsdyr resigned as CMDR of Nemesis Squadron, applications are not taken at the moment, if you want to apply give me a hint so that I can give you a reccomendation !
Speaking of good old Alsdyr, he and our WC got both promoted, so a huge congrats to both of them, I think beer is on the two :)
New Wing XVIII WC is Major Khaen, also a reason to get a free beer ;)

Competitions
Yes, Competitions.
You all are back from your leaves and holidays and so on, so I think we can start to get back on our way in becoming a kick ass Squadron, so I`m currently negotiating the details, but as it looks it will go on following way:
We will have a Squadron vs Squadron Competition against Phalcun Squadron of the RebelSquadrons (Online Gaming Club).
It will be a XWA SP Competition. The Rebels will choose a mission or battle from their database and we will choose one of our database. Then both Squadrons fly both missions/battles. We count the points of all pilots that submitted and then divide through the numbers of the pilots, so we get the average score of every Squadron. The Squadron with the highest points wins.
It is a fair and easy system.
I choosed as Battle XWA TC #31, when you play it you will know why :)
It will also give some medals for the Comp. Every Pilot that joins gets a Legion of Combat and the pilot with the highest submission gets a Distingished Flying Cross.
So I hope this is a Comp that you like and I expect from everyone a submission :)
I will also create something around this competition !
Competition #1:
Write a piece of fiction how we got into the battle with the enemy Squadron and how we manage it. Best submission wins and gets an IS-BR !
Competiton #2:
Create a graphic that shows a piece of the Battle, like an exploding a-Wing or whatever comes to your mind and is doable for you :) Best submission gets an IS-BR !

Alright,
Holidays are everywhere over (I hope so ;) ) and school already started. I know on my own that the first weeks in school are stressful, but I hope you get it managed to fly the Battle for the Competition and that we manage it to kick the asses of the little rebells :) So take all care that your marks in school are good and fly for the Comp :)
